BLAIR'S POV

“So…” Jaxon drawled, dragging out the moment, his grin widening. “I thought I should tell all of you I’m dating someone new.”

A chorus of “Ooooooo” erupted from his teammates, followed by rhythmic drumming on the tables. Laughter rippled through the crowd, and I forced myself to keep my expression blank, swallowing past the lump in my throat.

“She’s the most beautiful girl ever,” He continued, pausing for effect. “And sexy.”

Someone whistled.

“You know the drill!” Max shouted, prompting more laughter.

I felt something claw at my chest, but I brought my fork to my mouth, biting off the meat on the sharp end and chewing with great difficulty.

Jaxon didn’t need to make this announcement. Everyone already knew that he and Harper were now together. This wasn’t about sharing news—this was about humiliating me.

And the worst part? His friends were cheering him on.

Even Max!

Those guys had sat with me, laughed with me, and even said they would never let anything come

BLAIR’S POVI wiped my tears, my shoulders shaking as I cried. Crying in the bathroom felt different, like a heavy pain pressing down on my chest, reminding me of just how much of a loser I felt right now.“Remember what Kade said,” my wolf chimed in, trying to be the voice of reason. “He’s not worth it.”“Shut up,” I snapped back, my frustration bubbling even more. My wolf quieted down, thrashing inside my mind, making her displeasure known. But I ignored her. I was in too much pain to even care.As I wiped my tears, I couldn’t help but wonder why everything bad was happening to me. What did I do to the moon goddess to deserve this? Jaxon hadn’t just cheated on me; he had humiliated me in front of everyone. I had loved him for four years, and now I felt like the biggest fool alive for not seeing his true colors after so many years.I wiped my tears away, trying to gather myself. I would just have to endure this until everyone in school forgot about me. The thought of facing anyone

BLAIR’S POVJulia and Michelle burst into laughter, and my heart squeezed as I glared at them. Every one of Harper’s words stung. The way she was unapologetic about the things she did to me, it made me wonder how long she had hated me.“We used to be friends,” Harper continued. “You should have told me you needed lessons on how to make your mate feel good.”I balled my fists as every word sank in.“Maybe he wouldn’t have come to me if you had just gotten that right,” She added with a devilish smirk. “And you know what he says when we fuck? He tells me how good I am. When I ask if he wishes he was fucking you, he would tell me that he knows it would be an awful experience.”Before I could stop myself, my hand shot out, connecting with Harper’s face with a sharp crack. The sound of the slap echoed in the bathroom, making Julia and Mishelle immediately go silent in shock. Harper stumbled back, one hand flying to her cheek, her eyes wide in shock. For a split second, I thought she would

BLAIR’S POVI pushed the door to my room open and stepped inside, barely registering my surroundings. My body felt heavy and I felt a little weak from all the crying. But then, the smell of food hit me. It smelled delicious and familiar. Noodles. I frowned and walked toward the kitchen, and there, I met Kade standing over the cooker. I was surprised to see him there and the fact that he was cooking was interesting. He turned almost immediately and his eyes widened the second he saw my face. “What happened to you?” he asked in a very concerned voice. I avoided his gaze and shook my head. “I don’t want to talk about it,” I muttered, too drained to even begin explaining. My gaze shifted to the pot he was stirring. “A man of many talents I see. Who taught you how to cook?” Kade shrugged, not taking my compliment as a big deal. “Had to learn after my mom died,” he said simply, like it was just another fact about him. Then he tilted his head toward me and looked me over. “You must

BLAIR’S POVAbs. The first thing I saw when I woke up was abs. Perfectly defined abs. It teased my fingers to reach out, to feel the heat of his skin and my breath hitched. Damn. For a second, my brain didn't register who I was looking at, but then it clicked…Kade. He was standing in front of the mirror with a towel draped around his waist while he rubbed another through his dark damp hair. The morning light from the window highlighted every sharp angle of his muscles, and I knew I should’ve looked away. I really should’ve. But I didn’t. Instead, I stared secretly, shamelessly. Watching him, I bit my lips, feeling a tingle in between my legs. Memories from yesterday flashed through my mind. The kiss we’d shared. How close we were. How badly I had to stop myself from letting things go too far. And now, here he was, standing half-naked in front of me, making this whole proximity thing even harder. I couldn’t stop myself from imagining him doing things to me. I imagined him sud

BLAIR’S POVLiving with Kade had to be the worst decision I’d ever made. It wasn’t like I had a choice in the matter, though. But it hadn’t even been a month yet, and I was already wondering if agreeing to live with him was a bad idea.He was driving me insane, and the worst part? I couldn’t even blame him. He was hot. Everywhere I looked, he was right there to remind me of my wildest fantasies. My body wanted him. My stupid wolf wanted him. I liked him. And neither of us cared that he was my stepbrother. My stepbrother. I let out a frustrated sigh, remembering how he and I had shared a kiss just this morning. I wouldn’t call it just a kiss; it was more than that. We literally made out. And if that alarm hadn’t gone off, we would have gone further. The thought alone made me exhale heavily."What can I do?" I muttered to myself. I was a little worried about the fact that we wanted each other. Could we live together for much longer without anything happening between us again? And de

  • In My Lycan Stepbrother’s Bed   Chapter 017: Just Like His Father

BLAIR'S POVMy blood boiled just thinking about Harper going after Kade. She had tried flirting with him in biology class and even managed to exchange numbers on his first day. I was quite sure she knew who he was that day because I'd talked about him to her. I stood up straight and slammed my locker shut so hard that a few people turned to stare, but I didn’t care. I was already stalking down the hall, my heartbeat hammering in my ears. I knew exactly where Harper would be. The girls’ changing room. By this time, she usually hid out in there, fixing her hair or perhaps going through her Instagram page. When I got to the changing room, I pushed the door open without hesitation and, sure enough, she was the only one there. Perfect. She barely had time to turn before I stormed up to her. “Why couldn’t you say it to my face?” I demanded, my voice sharp with anger. She blinked at me, her expression shifting from surprise to boredom. “Say what, drama queen?” I scoffed, sh

BLAIR’S POVDuring lunch, I kept my head down, eating my food as I tried to ignore the glares and whispers around me. It was like everyone in this damn cafeteria thought my breakup was their business. People were choosing sides like this was some reality show and, obviously, most of them were on Jaxon’s side. I already decided that I would stop caring about everything so this afternoon, my focus was just on my food.Across the room, Harper sat with her usual smug expression and I could feel her eyes on me the entire time. What was she looking at?Maybe she was still angry about what I said to her this morning. Good. Next time, she would leave me alone and mind her boyfriend. I refused to give her any reactions as I continued eating. Soon after, my phone beeped. Almost at the same time, a ripple of notifications echoed across the cafeteria. I looked around, wondering why almost everyone got a notification at the same time.People around me eagerly pulled out their phones, murmu

  • In My Lycan Stepbrother’s Bed   Chapter 019: The Beginning Of Trouble

BLAIR’S POVI sat in the dean of students' affairs office, my fingers itching nervously as I fiddled with the hem of my shirt. Kade sat beside me, looking completely calm, which only made my anxiety worse. I lifted my gaze to stare at the dean, whose face was a mask of dissatisfaction. He kept glancing between me and Kade, and I was sure that if Kade hadn’t been there, he would have unleashed his fury on me. He just seemed to be holding himself back for some unknown reason. What kind of trouble had I gotten myself into? My heart pounded as I waited for him to speak. “Miss Thorn, some issues have been brought to the school’s attention concerning you,” Mr. Gregory, the dean, said in a serious voice after clearing his throat.“What issues?” Kade snapped immediately, acting protective as he adjusted in his seat, and staring at the dean with a frown. I stole a glance at him, and if I didn’t know any better, I’d think he was the one in trouble, not me.Mr. Gregory cleared his throat once

KADEWe’d barely stepped inside when her back met the wall. She tugged at my shirt, dragging me down into a kiss that was messy and warm, tasting faintly of the wine we’d shared at dinner.“Fuck,” I hissed when her hand slipped lower, gently cupping my balls and massaging the base of my hard cock. She looked up with that sexy little smile, and I couldn’t tell if it was the wine or something else that made her this bold.“You’re being very naughty, baby,” I muttered, voice tight. She didn’t answer, just kept kissing down my neck slowly, like she wanted to drive me crazy one inch at a time. Her fingers teased my waistband, lingering at my throbbing cock. “What am I going to do with you?” I breathed, brushing her hair back as she looked up at me with that heat in her eyes.“Anything.” She whispered. That was all it took.I scooped her up, her arms slipping around my neck as I carried her to the bed. She let out the softest laugh, still buzzing from the wine. I set her down gently, eye

BLAIRThe concierge gave us a polite nod, handed us our menus, and quietly stepped away. I barely skimmed the pages before spotting a few dishes that immediately caught my eye.“They have truffle risotto. And duck breast with cherry glaze. I’ve always wanted to try that. Oh and lobster tail?” I beamed with barely contained excitement. Across the table, Kade watched me with an amused smile. “Get whatever you want,” he said calmly, like the prices didn’t matter at all.Once the concierge disappeared, I set the menu down, still trying to process everything. “Okay, seriously. How did you even pull this off? I heard reservations here take weeks.”He shrugged. “I was persistent.”I narrowed my eyes at him, still smiling. “Persistent?”He leaned in a little, his tone playful. “Let’s not forget, I’m a Reid. That helped.”“Cool,” I said with a grin, settling back into my seat.“So,” he asked, watching me, “Do you like it here?”“I love it,” I replied honestly. When the waiter returned with ou

BLAIRThe ride to wherever Kade was taking me wasn’t awkward. It was quiet, but comfortable. He had slow, mellow music playing in the car, and I couldn’t help but wonder where we were going. His right hand stayed on the wheel, while his left rested on mine in my lap. Every few minutes, he’d lift it and press a soft kiss to the back of my hand, like it was nothing. When the car began to slow, I glanced out the window and gasped at the magnificent building we were pulling up to.No way, I thought.I blinked and leaned forward, making sure I wasn’t seeing things. Turning to Kade, I found him already grinning from ear to ear.“You’ve got to be kidding me,” I whispered, and he just laughed. He got out of the car, walked around, and opened my door with ease, offering his hand to help me out. I took it, stepping out slowly, my eyes immediately locking on the towering penthouse ahead. The King’s Restaurant. It was the most exclusive place to dine in the entire pack. Reservations took weeks,

  • In My Lycan Stepbrother’s Bed   Chapter 107

BLAIR’S POV Kade’s jaw clenched hard and I could feel the war waging inside him. His instinct to protect me was louder than any logic. But he also knew the kind of shit storm we’d be dragging ourselves into if he got in the way. Besides, I knew I was innocent and he knew that too. So after a long, burning second, he gave a stiff nod. He didn’t say anything, just let his hand fall from my hand. I gave him a small smile and followed the officers out of the dining hall, keeping my head high. Everyone watched with wide eyes and the whispers only grew wider, like I was already wearing the stain of guilt. The men led me into an office that smelled like old paper and something faintly acidic. I was taken to the drug investigation officer who was a bulky man with a sour face. He motioned for me to raise my arms and I did. Wordlessly, he and another woman searched me thoroughly but not invasively, probably disappointed they didn’t find pills sewn into my bra strap or something. Then

  • In My Lycan Stepbrother’s Bed   Chapter 106

Blair’s POV I scoffed, shaking my head in disbelief. So this was Mrs Priscilla’s grand plan? A psychologist? When she said we would be working with delinquents, I thought we would suffer through punishments. I definitely did not expect to sit through a therapy session. Community service, they said. Not group therapy. I didn’t sign up for this nonsense. And yet, here I was, perched awkwardly on a hard chair while the psychologist with her tightly pinned hair and gentle, annoying smile tried to pick apart my brain. What did they even expect to achieve with this? Make us hold hands with delinquents and sing songs about teamwork? Did Mrs Priscilla really think I would open up about myself? And even if I did, what next? Lock us up with criminals? “Tell me, Blair,” the psychologist cleared her throat and shifted in her seat. I’d been expertly avoiding her gaze, like maybe if I ignored her long enough, she’d give up. I didn’t get such luck as she went on with her question. “How

BLAIR’S POV Harper didn’t answer right away. She looked down, her hands fidgeting with the edge of her dress, pulling at a loose thread, perhaps buying herself time. Then she shrugged. “I was never jealous of you when you started dating Jaxon, Blair.” she started and I scoffed. “Is that so?” “I was actually happy for you,” she said in her own defense. “You were my friend and I never looked at Jaxon in a romantic way or anything like that until he started texting me.” “Hmm,” I mumbled, crossing my arms. “So he made the first move, huh?” “You were the one who gave him my number,” she said, her voice rising. “That was because you were my best friend!” I shot back, matching her tone. “Fine, I was naive but you knew exactly what you were doing when you fucked him.” She shook her head like I got it all wrong and I decided to stay quiet so that she would explain. “Jaxon texted me first,” she repeated in a quiet voice. “It was just friendly at first. Until he began flirting with

  • In My Lycan Stepbrother’s Bed   Chapter 104

BLAIR’S POV The screech of the door opening was the first thing I heard from my sleep, followed immediately by that painfully familiar voice that irritated me, coming through the quiet like a trumpet. “Get up, all of you!” I groaned and buried my face deeper into the pillow, but it was useless. I was starting to believe that Mrs. Priscilla’s voice could wake the dead. I forced my eyes open and there she was, towering by the door like a villain straight out of a bad dream. I squinted at the still-dark sky outside the window. The sun wasn’t even out yet. Couldn’t the moon goddess strike this woman with a temporary cold or something? Just long enough for us to get a full night’s sleep? “If your back is still on the bed in the next thirty seconds, you’ll be assigned more responsibilities today,” she snapped and I groaned loudly, pushing myself up. “We’re going hiking,” she announced with way too much energy for someone who clearly fed off our misery. “You’ve got twenty minutes to

Winter wasn’t here yet, but it sure as hell was announcing itself like an unwanted guest. I blew air into my palms for warmth, glancing at my phone. It was already two minutes past eight. Seriously? Mrs Priscilla had barked at us about being here at eight sharp. Where was she now? “This is all your fault, Blair,” Harper snapped and I turned to her. Her arms were crossed like a spoiled brat who’d just been told no for the first time in her life. “We wouldn’t be here freezing if it wasn’t for you.” I rolled my eyes and shook my head. Of course, she’d find a way to twist this around. God forbid Harper takes any responsibility for her miserable life.
