KADE’S POV

“So no one’s going to be there?” Will asked for the third damn time.

I clenched my jaw and stared ahead, resisting the urge to snap. Unfortunately, I couldn’t do that because I needed him.

We were in my car and on our way to Blair’s home, the place she grew up and lived before her mother met my dad.

“Like I said,” I muttered, keeping my eyes on the road. “Blair’s mom moved in with my dad. The house is empty. We’re supposed to crash there during breaks or something.”

Will nodded again, like his brain was trying to force the information to stick. I glanced sideways. He was sweating. There was actual sweat glistening on his forehead, even though the night was cold enough to make anyone’s breath visible.

“Why are you about to piss your pants?” I asked, raising a brow.

“Me?” He choked, eyes wide like I’d accused him of something atrocious. “I’m not about to piss my pants. Dude, what are you talking about?”

“Right.” I shook my head and just kept driving.

  • In My Lycan Stepbrother’s Bed   Chapter 122: Taken

BLAIR’S POV(Thirty Minutes Earlier)I flushed the toilet and stepped out of the stall, drying my hands on my jeans as I got ready to leave. I hadn’t expected to see anyone because this bathroom was tucked away behind the cafeteria, usually empty during breaks. But the moment I looked up, I froze.I wasn’t alone.Three boys stood there, blocking the door.My body went still as I looked at their faces. I didn’t recognize them immediately, but I knew they were here to look for trouble. I was the only one here. They shifted slightly, parting and letting someone through. My lips parted when Drew stepped forward, staring at me menacingly. My chest clenched. His face was still bruised and swollen from the fight with Kade. One of his eyes was dark purple and there was a cut across his lip. But the look in his second eye was worse. They looked cold, wild and angry in a way I hadn’t seen before.“What…” My voice cracked. “What are you doing here?”He didn’t say anything. He just stepped close

  • In My Lycan Stepbrother’s Bed   Chapter 121: Where’s Blair?

KADE’S POVIn the bathroom, Blair pressed the towel to my nose and I watched how her brows furrowed like I was about to bleed out. She flinched each time the blood smeared, like she could feel the sting herself. It was almost funny.“You’re a tad bit dramatic,” I said, trying not to smile even though my nose was still throbbing. She gave me this half annoyed and half worried look . “It’s not my fault. I’m trying to be careful so I don’t hurt you.”“You’re not hurting me,” I told her. Not physically, anyway. She kept wiping, gentler than she needed to be, and I just watched her. There was something about the way she focused so hard on something so small, like if she did it right, everything else would fall into place. As if a clean towel could undo what just happened out there.“I didn’t think you’d actually fight him,” she said and then paused, looking into my eyesI scoffed. “Drew is an asshole. He thinks he can get whatever he wants. Someone had to show him he couldn’t.”Blair didn’

  • In My Lycan Stepbrother’s Bed   Chapter 120

BLAIR’S POVI barely made it through the first half of the school day, not registering the words being taught. My body still ached from the night before—not in a painful way, just… worn out. I could still feel Kade’s touch and the way my body had responded, it was desperate and beyond my control. It wasn’t something I wanted to remember in the middle of a science class, but my mind kept drifting. Over and over.I hated this.I shifted in my seat, feeling warm, though the room was chilled with air conditioning. With the way I kept thinking about sex and how I felt last night, I had a feeling that tonight would be no different.I gripped my pen and tried to jot down some of the things the professor was saying. Focus, Blair. Just get through today. You’re fine.Except I wasn’t. I could still feel my wolf pacing beneath my skin. Agitated.I also couldn’t stop thinking about my supposed fated mate. Just remembering how my body craved him even when I didn’t want to made me sick to my stomac

  • In My Lycan Stepbrother’s Bed   Chapter 119: Heat

BLAIR’S POVI woke up drenched in sweat in the middle of the night. My nightdress clung to my skin and my heart pounding like I had just run a race. At first, I thought it was a nightmare I couldn’t remember. Perhaps it was from the stress of the past few days but that’s when I felt a sudden heat.It wasn’t just warmth. I felt like I was on fire, not one that physically burned. Every inch of me ached and I just wanted to be touched. My wolf was restless, whimpering in my head and growling in desperation. I sat up, gripping my chest. The feeling radiated outwards, clawing at my ribs, down my stomach, between my thighs. This wasn’t normal. Why was I feeling this way? Before I could stop myself, a moaned slipped out quietly, and I pressed my thighs together as I wondered what was going on.My legs trembled as I got out of bed, and I stumbled into the bathroom, turning on the cold tap and splashing water on my face. It did nothing. Instead, it felt like whatever was happening doubled.

  • In My Lycan Stepbrother’s Bed   Chapter 118:

Blair’s POVI sat across from Will in the far corner of the library with my textbook open in front of me. The page hadn’t changed in ten minutes, but I kept pretending to read, hoping he wouldn’t notice. My eyes followed the lines, but the words didn’t register. I wasn’t even sure what subject I was supposed to be focused on.Will was quiet, but I soon felt his eyes on me. Eventually, he set his pen down and cleared his throat. “You okay?” He asked.I didn’t answer right away. I closed the book slowly, pressing my fingers into the cover. I met his gaze and just sighed. I knew I could be honest with Will, but where would I even start from?“Honestly? No. I’m not,” I finally answered and the words came out in a whisper. He exhaled and then shifted in his chair, leaning forward slightly. “Wanna tell me what’s going on?”I nodded, then hesitated. “But before I do… we need to clear something up.”He tilted his head, waiting.“I can’t keep calling him Will in my head. It’s already confusing

  • In My Lycan Stepbrother’s Bed   Chapter 117: Threats

BLAIR’S POVI stepped out of my last class, adjusting my bag on my shoulder, already looking forward to some peace and quiet at home. But then I saw Will leaning against my locker like he’d been waiting.“Oh goddess,” I muttered under my breath. His arms were crossed tight, his head down, jaw clenched. He wasn’t smiling, he looked angry. For a moment, I thought about turning around and pretending I didn’t see him. But that wouldn’t help. He’d still find me and say whatever he came here to say. So I kept walking toward him.“Hey,” I said carefully, stopping in front of him. He didn’t answer right away. Just lifted his head and stared at me. I cleared my throat. “Is everything okay?”Finally, he said, “We need to talk.”I let out a slow breath and nodded. “Okay.”“Not here,” he muttered, straightening up. “Let’s go to the parking lot.”I didn’t like that it had to be private, but I nodded anyway. I didn’t have much of a choice. He pushed off the locker and started walking. I followed,

  • In My Lycan Stepbrother’s Bed   Chapter 116: Everything

KADE’S POVI walked into the boys' changing room, inhaling the smell of detergent and disinfectants. It seemed the space had just been cleaned. In here, it felt like a refuge. Here, I could just shut everything out. Classes had been draining, and the last thing I wanted was to sit through another lecture with my mind wrapped around Blair and Will. So, I did what I always did when I couldn’t stand doing anything—I came here.I dropped onto the bench and let my head fall back against the locker. I closed my eyes, but it didn’t make much of a difference. Every thought that had been clouding my mind rushed back in a wave. Blair. Will. Us. Everything. What the hell was I supposed to do with this mess?I wanted to fight for her, really, I did. I could fight for her all my life, but what would that mean? I couldn’t exactly stand up and scream that she was mine, not when the truth was that I had no claim to her. And even if I do fight for her, everyone, including our parents would find out o

  • In My Lycan Stepbrother’s Bed   Chapter 115: Mate Vs Love

BLAIR’S POVI turned to Will, my body going rigid. “Hold on. We didn’t talk about this,” I said, the shock in my voice coming out sharp. Will didn’t seem fazed by my reaction. “We don’t need to,” he replied with indifference. “You and Kade are clearly inconveniencing yourselves. I haven’t even sorted out proper accommodation yet, but the hotel I’m in has enough space for both of us. You should just come stay with me.”As he spoke, his hand slid lower along my back. I tensed immediately, a chill crawling up my spine. I stepped away from his touch this time before glaring up at him.“Just because we’re mates doesn’t mean I have to move out of my room,” I said firmly. “Like I told you, I’ve had a mate before. Nothing like this happened. We didn’t move in together or anything like that.”Will’s expression darkened slightly. “So what are you saying?”I ignored how displeased he looked. “The point is, it’s too soon,” I went on. “I’m not just going to uproot my entire setup because you thin
