I’m again awoken by Amory as she climbs into the bed with me breathing erratically. “Mi Amor”, (my love) I tell her as I pull her hands from her face. Spencer is released from the hospital after two days, with Amory taking it upon herself to play the part of a devoted wife and cater to his nonsense as he recovers. I take advantage of the situation too, since Spencer is confined to the couch in the living room at night, I climb into bed with Amory! Amory uses the time we are stuck upstate to actually get shit done. Amazing what she accomplished in two weeks! First, she actually gets Spencer to agree to her contract terms. Then she gets a health plan for his employees and gets everyone enrolled. From there, she moves on to getting all of the residents of the apartment complex on leases. She hires a landscaper to maintain the housing complex and two houses, interviews mechanics, and staffing for the laundromat. The smell of Amory lingers in the air around me, yet I’m in my bed naked, so her smell momentarily confuses me until I hear my housekeeper Tia calling for me.
