I blinked and rolled over. Mira was sleeping next to me, her arms wrapped around me protectively.

A small smile tugged on my lips. Despite everything I did to her, despite everything. She saved my life.

I got off the bed and crossed over to where the glass window was, opened it to review the beautiful skyline and the beautiful view and waters. I stared outside and wrapped my hand around my neck, only to feel the grasp of Kurt's hand on it again. Tears rolled down my eyes. I still couldn't believe that Kurt nearly killed me and he hadn't bothered to check if I was doing okay.

I secured the duvet around Mira and walked out of the room.

The first person I saw was Camilla. "Good morning ma'am. Breakfast?"

I waved her off. "No thanks," I pulled out a packet of cigarettes. "Can I get a light please?"

She didn't reply. She just walked out and returned few seconds later with a lighter. "Thank you." I sucked on the filter of the cigar and lit it, blowing out the smoke through my nose.
