Aubrey looked terrible when she woke up the next morning. She didn't have bags under her eyes, she didn't have make-up traces on her face, but she looked lifeless. She could not get over what Jordan had said; it was hard for her to believe that he actually said those things about her. Her mind could not process the words he uttered.
She took a shower, hoping that it would help her to relax, but it was no use; she ended up crying as she showered. She dried her body, moving like a robot, then she got dressed.

Aubrey stood in front of Jordan's front door. She did not want to knock or ring the doorbell. She did not want to see him, but she knew it had to be done one way or another. She took a deep breath and rang the doorbell then waited for him to open the door. After a couple of seconds, Jordan opened the door and smiled widely when he saw her. He quickly pulled her into a hug; he needed to feel her touch against his body. She wanted to push him away so badly, but she thought that anyone might spot them together and take pictures.
