I was not really hungry so all I did was play with the  food placed in front of me. Eric was enjoying  his meal and he would  engage in small talk but I was somehow short on the responses. Trying as much as possible to stay calm and in control  of the feelings I had inside of me. I felt suffocating when I talked to the man in front of me while the last breath of fresh air I needed was between Cole's lips .

Luckily,  Anna  called on time. And although Eric insisted on driving me back to my place I managed to convince him not to and he did not push it. He paid the bill and escorted me silently out of The Golden Plate restaurant. Cole was still seated at the table when we walk passed him. He had been busy with the person he was with . The man in the black suit seemed strangely familiar to me but I did not know out why. I tried as much as possible to ignore Cole's presence
