Epilogue

*Omario POV*

A day later, Luna Sarah bids us farewell to return to her pack. She and my mother have had very long conversations. Our warriors will accompany her all the way. With the sceptre on her hand and determination to make her pack better, I have no doubt that she will just be fine.

The whole nation is fussing about our pup, I don’t know how many times I have seen his name on ships, billboards and television adverts.

Having Terrence, Duncan and Loyd around has made my job so much easier. I get to spend a lot of time with my mate and pup, knowing that everything is taken care off.

Abi is also thrilled to have mother back. The two of them spend hours giggling, it warms my heart to see them so happy.

Two months later, mother and Terrence’s pup is born and my cocky friend is now worse and insists on being addressed as father Alpha. I have accepted it because in reality, he is the ultimate Alpha and I am thrilled that our people have accepted him just like we have.

Abi, Mother and Teresa are now on a mission to find Loyd a mate and I think they might have just succeeded. It took time for him to heal but Gwen, Luna Sarah’s daughter and the heiress of the Palmland pack has claimed that that broken heart.

Fifteen years later…….

*Abi POV*

Life has really been bliss, I sometimes can’t believe that it’s all true. Our people are happy, the kingdom is flourishing.

We are relaxing in the lounge when Neptune walks in, upset.

“What is it, Baby?” Mother Luna asks, lovingly.

Alloy runs in right after him, looking cute as usual and guilty as charged.

My heart melt at the scene and dramatic Nina is already sobbing. “Our pup is just the cutest.”

“That’s right.” Titan beams. It’s one of the few things the two of them agree on.

I roll my eyes and focus on the two teenage boys. I really can’t believe how they have grown. They are the best of friends but also clash like siblings.

“Alloy took my video game. I want it back,”Neptune cries, but Alloy is right next to him, makings a puppy face at his grandmother.

I really feel sorry for Neptune because this is another one of their many arguments he will not win. His mother happens to be the grandmother of his rival.

“Alloy is a baby and your nephew. You have to share with him,”mother Luna gives her usual response.

“He is older than me!” poor Neptune cries but it’s in vain. His mother is strict on him but a softie with her grandson.

“Come here my boy,” Terrence says lovingly.

He and mother Luna never left again after the attack by Alpha C and Olivia. I don’t take their presence here for granted.

“I want it back, Dad. Make him give it back,” Neptune urges.

Terrence laughs. “You know I can’t do that. Alloy is my grandson and gets away with everything.”

“What do I get then?” the boy asks, frustrated.

I know when he curves his lip mischievously that Terrence is up to no good.

“Let me tell you something, Son. You are competing with the wrong person, one you cannot win against. Do you know that your bigger brother is the king and younger brothers always get away with everything?”

Neptune immediately gets it. He looks at Omar and shakes his head with a huge grin on his face before running to his mother.

“Mother, can I have Omar’s video game?”

Omar jumps into his feet and I can’t hold back my laughter. He did not see this one coming.

“Yes, Baby, you can have it.”

“Mom!” Omar exclaims while Neptune runs out excited.

“What? He is a baby and you are… well, you should not be playing that thing anymore.”

I burst out in laughter because he really loves that stupid game.

He is not impressed with me for laughing. He wraps his arms around my waist and pull me closer to him.

“I will make you pay for this.”

It’s the desire in his voice that get me all excited right before my nostrils are filled by cinnamon and mint.

THE HAZE!

“Omar,” I warn when he whisks me off my feet and heads straight to our chambers.
