The discussion with Lucy went surprisingly well. I was expecting her response when she told me that she wants her to stay with Baron instead. According to her, it's the same compound just different building but I countered the idea by telling her that the deal was that she stays with me until her father sorts his enemy. She didn't take the argument further after that.

Whoever it was that was climbing the stairs ealier finally knocked. An intake of breath told me that it was Baron who was at the other end of the door. I slowly removed Lucy's hand which was draped on my stomach.

I succeeded in removing her hand without waking her; okay maybe I did wake her up, but she didn't bother opening my eyes.

I opened the door to Baron's annoyed face "I can't believe that fucker woke me up from sleep. Alberto is here with his daughter"

I heard the gate open, but I never thought it was Alberto. "Stop being a pussy and show him to my office. Make sure the guys keep an eye on him"

Baron huffed
