Flashbacks

Her sister's crying echoed in the room . Sera sat next to her sister (Anna) and tried to make her stop crying but she knew that there was nothing that she could do. Her fiance and Sera's friend broke the engagement between him and Anna . No one knows the reason and Anna has done nothing but cry since that moment.

 It was a normal day .he came to the mansion to visit Anna to decide which designer would make their wedding outfits. Things changed within minutes as everyone in the mansion heard shouting between the couple . In the end Mark left saying this engagement is over. Anna's brown eyes turned red from all the crying . Her parents tried to make her talk but she was silent and still like a statue . Sera got a message from Mark telling her that if she wants to know the reason for what happened she should meet him at the bar . Sera wore some casual clothes then left to the garage .

She opened her dark blue Mercedes car and headed to the bar .

She reached the bar and started searching for Mark in the dancing crowd but he was not there. She took a look at the tables and he was nowhere to be found. Suddenly someone patted her on the shoulder.

"here I bought a drink"  mark called out from her back with his hands full of  shots. He looked drunk and sloppy . He had messy brown hair and his usual calm hazel eyes were now pitiful and pale. Most of his shirt buttons were open. Sera couldn''t handle this anymore. 

' why would he break up the engagement if he will be in this state ' Sera thought to herself.

"I am not here to drink I am here to talk and I would prefer if it was somewhere other than here." Sera told him with a serious and nagging tone.

"what's wrong with here , it is a place where all our worries are gone don't you agree" Mark said in a drunk tone with a smile on his face .

"are you drunk!!!!!!!!" Sera exclaimed while glaring at him.

"me ?!! no way I only drank like 6 shots and I can hold my liquor" Mark said with sarcasm

" let's just sit there" Sera told him as she pointed at an empty table next to them. 

"my pleasure" Mark followed her but with a drunken walk. He couldn't move in a straight line . He finally sat on the table in front of her. 

"so what the hell why did you break the engagement knowing both of you loved each other"   

sera said while glaring at him.

"oh don't you dare say that we both loved each other ,you fully understand who I love and it's you if you are that dense but you knew cause I confessed and you said you are not interested because you have to concentrate on your career so Your sister was the rebound and she knew what she was getting herself into when confessing to me" Mark shouted at Sera and said the last words with a sarcastic smile on his face.

A sudden slap from sera fell on Mark's cheeks and he was surprised for a second but laughed sarcastically. He knew he deserved that but he didn't care.

"I hit a nerve didn't I !? well it is the truth and by the way I still have feelings for you and that can answer your desperate question. " Mark said with pained eyes.

"and my answer didn't change .after you confessed I told you we couldn't be friends cause I never believed we could be after what you said but you just went and played with my sister's feeling but I let it slide cause she was happy but now I am going to bring you down . I thought you forgot about your feelings and started loving her ,guess I was mistaken. Don't you dare come near my family again and I never want to see your face." Sera told Mark with a calm tone but mad eyes. Her eyes were glaring at Mark as if they were roasting him.

"I tried to love her but it was too hard . she was similar to you and I was reminded everyday by you so how can I move on" Mark tried to explain but it was in vain.

"do you want another slap?" Sera responded to his explanation

"I want a ride ." Mark blatantly asked her as he was having a certain plan in mind and this was the effect of drinking.

"you are kidding !!." Sera exclaimed with a high voice that caught the attention of some bystanders.

"I am drunk and I can't drive . I know you hate me but it is just a ride to my house which is a twenty minute ride from here and I promise you to never show my face again " Mark tried to make her give in but he couldn't.

"I have a bad feeling so the answer is no" Sera responded while standing up to leave this bar but Mark grabbed her hands 

"please ..." He fell down and fainted on the floor. Sera was dumbfounded. She had no idea what to do. In the end she decided to send him to his house. She couldn't just leave him unconscious. She had a really bad feeling about this. She had no idea that the upcoming events will cause her life to turn upside down.
