Thank goodness Dr. Molina was such a sweetheart. I called Mel and she managed to squeeze me in during his lunch hour. Of course I told her what the appointment was for - Mel was like an older sister to me, I trusted her completely and she always helped me out.

"Girls, I'm here!" Melissa appeared at the office an hour before the appointment, right when I was grabbing my purse to head to the hospital with Lexie.

"What are you doing here, crazy?" Lexie asked, confused.

"You really think I'd miss this? Not even if I was dead!" Melissa smiled at me. "My little butterfly is growing up, I get so emotional!" Melissa spoke to me like a doting mother, and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Let's go then, girls!" We left the office and headed straight to the hospital.

We arrived early for the appointment, but when Dr. Molina opened his office door, he started laughing right away.

"I'm wondering why Sam and Cat aren't here." He greeted us warmly.
