I had no idea what my crazy girl had done to tame my little wildcat, but when I arrived at the bedroom door and saw the two of them high-fiving in the air, I thought I had entered a parallel universe where there was a Giovanna and a Hannah who got along and Giovanna wasn't being a pain in the ass.

I looked at Rubina without understanding anything. She was inside the room leaning against the door with teary eyes.
