Wes and I only had a very vague mention of the kiss last night. It seemed that we both settled on the kiss just happening in the heat of the moment so that we could continue to sell our charade without anyone becoming skeptical.

That was the final verdict we seemed to arrive at before ending the conversation last night.

I don't know where it was coming from but part of me felt disappointed. Part of me was expecting that maybe there was a different reason he kissed me. I don't know if that's what I wanted but I thought he would say something more last night.

It was crazy of me to expect that. Of course.

I knew Wes. I had been the one playing match-maker for him so I knew that Wes wasn't the real relationship type of guy. He had never even picked a single girl that was worthy enough for him to see a second time.

The only reason he hung around me was because our relationship was purely as friends. Add in the fun and games when I scouted out dates for him.

I didn't know how I was feeling.
