My eyes peeled open at the loud bang of my door. I shook my head, trying to shake off the sleep that was still creeping in despite my sudden headache.

I glanced at the book in my hands, realizing that I had dozed off while studying. I sighed in defeat, dropping the book on the table and put myself on my feet. My legs felt so wobbly and I groaned.

I made my way to my living room, haunting for the reason why my door suddenly gave out a loud bang. I stopped in my tracks at the sight of a bleeding Martin, who was hanging on Asher's shoulder for support. His eyes were barely opening but shutting more on their own.
