Audrey: "Get your ass out of that bed right now Audrey." I groaned as Asher kept tugging on my leg in an attempt to pull me out of the bed. I was freaking tired. I stood for three hours in a miserable practical session and let me just tell you that it was awful. My whole legs were stiff and numb and my back aching. My hair was a mess from the constant whipping of my neck around and loosening of my rubber band when my head began to throb. Honestly, considering the fact that Asher and I were in the same group, I was seriously wondering how he still had the energy to try to get me out of bed and the stamina to still stand. "I'm fucking tired Asher." I groaned out in my most hoarse voice, which was not my fault because I was tired. Have I said that before?"Tired, smired. Get your ass out of that bed young lady. The game is in an hour and you promised Bent you'd be there. Also, let's not forget the fact that you'd also want to see someone else." His tone was suggestive and that did the
Audrey:I was speechless, standing frozen to the ground. My mouth ran dry as my eyes slowly left Asher's tensed figure to land on the slender beauty that stood staring at me with a very coy smile. Everything about her spelt dangerous, her aura had a certain kind of cool chill and draw. Better put, if she was a drug, she'd be one of those drugs the doctor would tell you would give you euphoria and get you addicted, but is very dangerous to your health.I didn't doubt why Enzo would have ever been attracted to her. She had a magnetic pull, she was pretty and her voice was seductive without effort. Suddenly my heart slowly began pounding in my chest. I didn't know why I was feeling like this, she was his Ex. They aren't together anymore. But then, a small very wicked voice was slithering vile words into my head. Why was she back? Was Enzo aware? If he knew, Asher wouldn't have been as shocked and perplexed as he was now because Enzo would have told him. Bullshit! Kimora was back, Bentley
Hey lovelies, thank you all for giving this book a chance. I'm sorry for slow updates. Honestly, the reason things have been slow for me is mainly because I'm now in Nursing school so I have less time to write now. Also, I've been properly editing and rewriting this very story as I plan to do with others. I have better equipments now so less typos for everyone, 'cause honestly that stuff is very embarrassing. All in all, to everyone that gave this book a read and contributed to it, I'm really grateful. It means so much to me. Thanks for the support, you guys don't know how much it helps with anxiety and depression. ❤❤
Audrey: Last day of high school is always that dramatic time of the year. I sighed as I stared at the kids giggling because they've got awesome after school plans, bucket list completed, pictures with people they cared about and wanted to remember. I scrunched my nose as I noticed the blue haired girl toss confetti in the air and the whole class erupted in cheers. Another kid with brown hair walked in with a big cake and kids followed behind her with drinks and desserts. Today was definitely going to be a big one. No doubt, there was going to be a lot of after school plans, parties are definitely a must. "Hey Lloyd, care for?" My eyes rose to meet red ones. I could tell they were contacts. His black hair swept across his face, covering half of this right eye. His nails clad in black nail polish wrapped around the can he was handing me. I nodded, and collected the can of soda. I didn't want to be a debbie downer and say no. I dropped the can on my table and stared at the clock. Jus
Audrey: My back ached and that was heavily proven by the soreness of my muscles as my back hit the bed. Yesterday was rough as heck. I never expected us to have had so many customers in one night. Asher tripped his plates twice, delivered the wrong orders more times than I could count and nearly lost his cool a lot. I had to apologise frequently for him and his wild cursing when it hit him wrong and hard. We had closed late and since Asher's place was quite far and his car broke down, I invited him to pass the rest of the night at my place. And he couldn't have been more grateful since I spared him the thought of walking the lone street home late in the night. I heard a thud and behold was Asher passed out on my floor with his front to the ground. He didn't even take off his coat or shoes. Well, who am I to judge him, neither did I. I yawned as my eyes craved to be shut, sleep was very well knocking on my door but I knew better to set my alarm before gi
Enzo: I sighed as I sat on the stool by the counter, spreading peanut butter on my bread and biting into it. I had a sting from waking up again to an empty house. The maid hasn't called in yet and the butler had taken a leave yesterday. Apparently his wife was sick. I had to permit him. I poured myself a glass of cold orange juice and drank it up. I have gotten to used to fending for myself since my parents are never, ever around. Cooking for myself and ruling myself were my speciality. I was hungover from the drinks last night. I knew I shouldn't have taken them but something had to put me out of my misery. My sad reality was today being my birthday and my parents haven't called to wish me or at least send a gift like they usually do. It was as if the older I got, the less they thought about me. I was born in luxury, my parents made sure I had more than enough. I have a sister but she's married now. I hated it when she got engaged and I hated her fiance because I knew he was going
Enzo: Unlike how Bentley's place had turned out after the party, my place was clean. The guys made sure to clean up after themselves. At least my threat worked because my furniture and decorations were still intact. "Goodmorning sir." The cleaner Tabitha said with a smile. She was young, probably in her early twenties and undeniably beautiful. The countless times my hormones were acting out, it took great self-control to keep my hands to myself. I smiled as I recalled the day I made her drink with me. We had both gotten drunk and her professionalism was kept aside. We ended up sharing a kiss but that was as far as it went. It took a miracle for nothing to happen between us. And I'm sure that experience is something we'd both like to forget. "Morning Tabitha." My groggy voice came as I yawned."I reckon the place was alive yesterday." From her implying tone, I knew she knew about the party. Not that I was trying to hide it."Surprise birthday party from my friends. It was really thou
Audrey:The past few weeks have been hell for me. I barely had enough time for myself as my part time jobs were taking up almost all of them. I hang out with Martin while we are at the pool, working as life guards but other than that, I rarely get to see him.I do visit the library once in a while to get a head start on college work. I really wanted to put in a good effort once I get accepted. Martin being a Microbiology student, did help me out from time to time when he was done with his shift and I was on mine.I had applied to Stanford because I knew my CGPA would be good. I always was a straight 'A' student. And taking Spanish as my elective was a bonus for me."Hey Audri." I snapped out of my thoughts to find Martin sitting on my bed. Who let him in?"Martin? You're here? How?" I asked, trying to stifle a yawn.He simply pointed at my tree and wind
