Nicola's POV:
Why is this girl getting in my head! I slam my computer shut in frustration. I can't do anything without her popping into my mind. Like I just want to go back to how everything was. She's literally been here for a week and has already disturbed my entire work schedule, which technically isn't her fault.
She's just different. She talks back to me and half the time she does the opposite of what I say. Oh and she calls me Nicola when she is pissed at me. All of my workers call me Mr. Rosi, boss or
Rose stayed with me until dinner, she was very focused on finishing her picture. She wouldn't even let me look at it, it was a secret. My work for today is almost finished so hopefully I can make it up to dad tomorrow. I don't really need a lecturing from mom. Those are the worst. Especially when it concerns dad's health because the guilt weighs on my shoulder ten times more."Rose it's time for dinner," I say as I shut my laptop. Rose has her tongue out slightly as she concentrates on her drawing. She holds up one finger with her free hand to tell me to wait a moment. "Rose now."
Danielle's POV:The dining room is gigantic. There are two long tables in it, allowing every member and worker in the house to eat at once. Rose insisted on sitting next to Nicola the first night we ate dinner here and it just kind of stuck throughout the week. I just keep to myself or listen to Rose talk to avoid Nicola."Momma," Rose says as I finally sit at the table.
We get down to the pool and Rose attempts to put on her float by herself. I help her put it on but tell her to wait until I get into the pool. She sits on the groan and slips of her sandals, while throwing her towel next to them. I roll my eyes at my daughter's eagerness before I slip off my sandals and cover up. Nicola is setting his towel and phone down on a chair next to me. "Are you ready baby girl?" I ask Rose as she stands up."Wets go momma!" Rose smiles as she grabs my arms and takes me to the steps. She leads me int
Nicola's POV:This past month has been pretty calm for us. We've had a few run ins with small gangs here and there, also the deals that are always scheduled. So everything has been running smoothly. Dad is finally taking more time off, which is good for his health. Stefano has been working a lot with the computers lately and is becoming very good, he's one of our best guys. Aurora has been, well God has helped us all with her. She has been so moody and violent. Especially towards Stefano, Antonio, and I. She has thrown so many shoes at us I've lost count. If this is what all pregnant women are like I'm never having any kids. Rose has been the sweetest girl. She alwa
Danielle's POV:Nicola woke us up right before dinner, even though I was still extremely tired. Rose still looked a little bit tired but she was rubbing her eyes to wake up. Nicola said he had to go check up on something so he left Rose and me alone to go to the dining room. Which probably was better because I've already been stared at an awful lot. It probably wouldn't help if I walked in to dinner with the boss after he disappeared for the afternoon.Dinner was delicious, yet awfully quiet. Rose hasn't woke
We are waiting in the med room, and by we I mean Stefano; Nicola; Luca; Rose and I, for the test results to come back. The regular nurses and doctors are cleaning the room while Stefano runs the DNA samples through this machine. He's typing a whole bunch of stuff and it amazes me how different he is from his older brother. I mean he is more quiet yet jokes more than Nicola, while Nicola isn't afraid to be loud and demanding. Stefano also is amazing with technology while Nicola is amazing at fighting. I watched the guys train one day and it was intense. I was only there because Rose wanted to see Nicola and Luca before she went down for her nap."It's okay to be nervous," I tell Luca
Nicola's POV:"Nicola you need to leave your office," I hear my mom say from the doorway. "If this is too much work I can get your father-""No!" I speak up sternly. The less work my father does the better. "He needs all the rest he can get madre.""You need rest too," mom argues. "You will drain yourself if you keep working like this. At leas
The next day I avoid looking at Mom, Alcee and Elle. The two who are pressuring me into asking out Elle keep staring at me and then they'll glance at her if the see me looking at them. Elle, I avoid her because I don't want to make a damn fool of myself. I literally have trouble forming a sentence around her. So I just avoid her all together, it makes my life simpler.Luca took Rose to get more clothes yesterday and Rose had a blast. Elle thanked him numerous times for buying Rose all of the things he did. I think Luca loves the idea of spoiling his daughter, just like my dad did with Aurora. Must be a only daughter thing because mom has always said she was never spoiled, she has tw
