Nicola's POV:
It has already been a few days since we've arrived at the safe house. Dad and I have been making arrangements to attack the French. A few of our men at the main house are keeping us updated on the French. My father is helping me get ready for the drive back to the main house, we are set to leave in an hour. Our men back at that house said that the French are less than a days trip away, so we need to get to them before they get to the house.
"Figlio," dad says as I put my vest on, "you need to eat before we go. Your mother will kill you herself if you left before you ate."
"Are the men ready to go?" I ask as I load a pistol before I put it in the holster that's around my waist.
"They will have to come down to get their vests but that is it," dad tells me as he stands up. "Go get something to eat, everything is already set."

"We have to get going," I rush out as I put my bag over my shoulder. "We still have a two hour drive.""We are almost set to leave," Alcee tells me as she grabs her own bag. The counters in the kitchen are covered in various ingredients, especially flour. Rose's nose and cheeks have flour on them as well, plus a few of her curls that have fallen an her face. It's been a week since Nic woke up and he's already trying to over work himself. He's locked up in his office all day doing paperwork that Mr. Rosi couldn't keep up on.
