When I got home I flopped down on the couch, my head hurt a little from all day today. I looked at my cell phone and realized it was one in the afternoon. I had missed the morning classes to go to the job interview. I stood up and went to the kitchen, took the four pieces of pizza out of the fridge and put them in the oven. That would be my lunch. After lunch I took a quick bath, put on worn pants, a short shirt, and white tennis shoes. I tied my hair in a scruffy bun and left the house. "Beth!" I heard a voice behind me. When I got home I went straight to the kitchen to prepare something to eat. I had a few days when I did not cook, I just spent my time ordering fast food and, although I knew it was not healthy, I had no other option.
