Daniel

The moment we started walking inside the school, and I saw how Jacob and will was laughing right in front me. Something inside me snapped. I should know and be used to the fact that Jacob wasn’t my property.

The contract didn’t mean that I owned him, especially not at school, where the other kids could misinterpret what we had. I should be used to watching him make friends… and be happy for him.

But it hurt. So much.

Especially now that we weren’t exactly solid with our agreement.

I walked fast, past them. I could no longer watch from behind. The hallway was packed with students as usual. They were laughing, shouting , chatting, like everything was normal with the world. But they weren’t.

Things had changed. For most of us… for me.

Reggie saw me, he was leaning against his locker as always, probably waiting for me to come in. He raised an eyebrow as I got closer. “Damn man, you look like… shit.”

“Thank you for pointing that out, Reg,” I answered sarcastically, running my h

DanielHe wasn’t standing just a few rows away from where I sat, looking at me, unsure if he should go or stay. For a second, we just stared at each other, neither of us speaking a word. His hands balled into fists, trembling at his sides. Then he took some steps forward and then stopped. “You’re skipping first period.”“And so are you… clearly.” I shrugged. He took a deep breath, then a quick laugh. “I guess I am.”There was another silence. The air between us felt thick, like it could land on us like a rock any moment. “What are you doing here, Jake? I finally asked, my eyes flickering around the room.“I saw you leave, so I followed. Just wanted to make sure you’re okay.”The words pierce through my fragile heart. Because that was Jacob Hale. No matter how many men he kissed, he’d always come running to see if I was okay. Maybe he cared, but even if that were true, I didn’t deserve it.All I ever did was control him, bully him… use him. “I’m fine.” The words came out sharper t

KennyThe dining hall buzzed with the usual loud noises from students. There were loud laughter, tray’s clattering, the occasional shout from the house masters trying to get everyone to be quiet. But I wasn’t having any of that… not today. I stabbed my fork into the overcooked chicken, my eyes burning tiny holes into Jacob’s stupid fucking… perfect head. He was sitting at the usual table he’d chosen over ours. His table was close to the window, and the sun made his skin glow like honey. It made me so.. mad.And across from him, was Daniel fucking Cobbs with his friends. Since when did Daniel and his friends sit at the same table with Jacob and all the other losers there?Daniel… confident, wealthy, influential… untouchable leaned forward, whispering something in Jacob’s ear that made him laugh. That soft, quiet laugh, the one that made him look like some cute little saint. The one that made even teachers fall in love with him. The one that made me want to go over there and slam my

NathanThe very first thought that came into my head, when I stepped into the campus was, this place wasn’t for me. I didn’t belong here. My brand new leather jacket was stiff against my shoulders, and the bodyguards my dad had sent to help me settle in were right behind, with my expensive suitcases rolling behind them. This wasn’t like the places I’d come from. No one cared how many suitcases I’d brought with me, or the expensive leather jacket. They were chatting, laughing, and calling out to people like they’d know each other forever. And then there was I. Nathan Vincent, the new rich kid on campus, who didn’t know anyone in the entire city. But it was the place I’d always wanted to. Maybe because my parents never let me go anywhere. They were thrilled when I got in. Mom was overly excited, like she was the one going herself. I understood, living with my Dad was one of the hardest thing anyone could do. For mom, it wasn’t about the place, it was more about being away from Dad

DanielThere was this persistent ache in my chest when I woke up. It could be from the weight of everything that happened in the last few days. The hiding, lying to Sarah… and getting back with Jake after everything. The pain and the thoughts pressed down on me as I lay on the bed, my eyes focusing on the ceiling of my room. The morning lights flicked through the fabric in the window, casting gold lines on the walls. It was a new day. Another day to be in school, see those familiar faces… see Jake’s face.Rolled to the other side of the bed, reaching for my phone on the nightstand. Notifications light up my phone. A message from Sarah… and my mom, but nothing from Jacob. Not that I was expecting anything. Things between us had been more complicated, but I thought that forgiving him would change things a bit. Ever since Mr Richard got in the picture, it’d been from one fight to another. I’d thought of breaking off the contract if that would make him happy, but since the whole issue

Classmate: WillThe sound of my heart beating hammered loudly in my ears when I suddenly saw Jake burst into the room. His face was flushed with something I hadn’t seen before. Something more interesting than the usual composure I’d always seen. It seemed like fear… uncertainty. Maybe desperation. I knew that look too well. Seen it before. The difference was, it wasn’t directed at me back then. I was nothing more than a passing shadow, a nameless classmate whose note held no value. He’d tossed it inside his bag, but never acted on it. He didn’t even spare me a second glance since then. I bet he didn’t even remember. But now… no, he was here, in the same room as me, breathing the same thick air that suddenly felt suffocating. Close enough that if I reached out, if I tried just a little, I could… No. It was too soon, and doing anything now could mess up everything.I’ve had so much patience until now. Just a little more wouldn’t kill me.I knew why he was there; the rumors about Dan

JacobI should've felt relieved. After everything I did. The lies, the sneaking around, and the betrayals, Daniel was still willing to continue with the contract. But did I? Hell no. I didn’t feel a single relief. The only thing I felt was fear, like everything would come crashing down right in front of me any second now. Daniel didn’t rip our contract to shreds. But he should have, then I wouldn’t feel like a total crap of a human being. After everything? After my epic fail? He could've, he should've. The terms were crystal clear. No other guy, as long as the contract was valid, no drama. And what did I do? I broke every single rule. And yet, he let it slide. Or maybe he pretended. It didn’t matter what it was, really. The most important thing was that Daniel still wanted to talk to me… touch me. Every time I tried to make amends, to apologize for my mistake again, he’d shut me down with a casual wave.It could be fake even though it didn’t look that way. It looked and felt l

SarahThe penthouse located in the heart of New York City had a faint scent of expensive bourbon and a heavy aura of regret.Sitting on the edge of the bed, I pulled my dress over my head as my phone buzzed with a message. It was from the last person I’d expected. Daniel’s teacher from school.Mr. Richard. The man who was seated next to me, whose name was either Aiden or Andrew, mumbled something about getting dinner, but I was already responding to the text. The message was short but very concerning. "Your brother is driving off the edge."I knew what the whole thing was about. Daniel had screwed up again. But it had never been a problem, because Daniel’s screw ups was always bullying, which wasn’t serious and I seriously think he did that for attention. My brother had never been one to cause trouble unless it was a cry for help. Just like when our parents… Dad especially sent him to that awful boarding school. He never wanted to go. To be away from Mom… from me, but Dad had said

RichardI couldn't help but obsess over him.Jacob.It wasn’t love or anything like it. It was something much more stronger than love. The memory of his lips on mine, how they'd been hesitant at first, then greedy, as though he'd been yearning for the taste of my lips. The way his chest had risen and fallen rapidly as my fingers explored the curves of his body beneath his shirt, tracing the sharp ridges of his hipbones with an hungry touch. The way his gaze had burned when I'd whispered against his mouth, “I want you."And then Daniel had pushed open the door.Just great.I hadn't planned it, but the moment Daniel's shadow fell inside the room, I'd seized the opportunity. Drawn Jacob closer, deepened our kiss until it was seamy, until there could be no doubt of our sins.It felt good that he witnessed it. Felt the sting of betrayal.Because Jacob wasn't truly his.And after that, all that show, I was sure Daniel would concede defeat. But then…The next morning, I’d come early to c
