Chapter twenty-four - Kim
I think my family scared Jake off last night. He couldn't get away fast enough and I didn't hear from him until a lot later, long after he would have already gotten home.
He said everything was fine and I'm not normally the sort of girl to get all anxious about a guy's behaviour, but after a wonderful weekend together, I'm eager to get to school and make sure everything is ok with us.
I kind of hate myself for feeling like this, so I suck it up, put on my happy face and prepare for the worst. It's hardly been a long relationship, if it ends now, I'll get over it, but, the more I think about it ending, the angrier I get.
