CH-7, IF YOU DARE

Sandhya gulped in horror. During study and training, there's only one thing which is unforgivable in Lola's eyes and that is 'DISTRACTION'!

Lola looked at Sandhya with squinted eyes. Sandhya panicked and said, "Haha, what are you saying, Sis? I am not distracted. I was just thinking deeply about what you were saying just now."

There was no change in Lola's expression like she didn't believe it.

"Is that so?"

"Yes, yes, There's nothing else."

She was thinking about what to do next when they heard uncle Han called Lola for something. Sandhya got the excuse she was looking for. She immediately distracted her, "Sis, uncle is calling you and I think we should take a little break. We are studying continuously for some time. What do you think?"

She asked with a mischievous grin on her lips. Lola rolled her eyes. The more days Sandhya is spending with Serena she is turning into more and more like her.

"Fine, review the things I taught you just now. I will ask questions."

Sandhya nodded and Lola headed towards the kitchen where uncle Han was busy preparing for dinner.

It was already a bit past evening. The sky was shaded with beautiful hues of orange, pink, and blue. The street lights were also lighted. The street was becoming crowded with people returning from their jobs and also who were here to shop for groceries and to dine but the commotion on the other side of the street was only growing. People were avoiding to go near that place due to which one side of the street was heavily packed whereas the other side was almost empty. The people who were there to buy groceries had left that place so there were only those trouble makers, the owners, and the little girl.

After Lola left, Sandhya instantly shifted her attention back to the shop and on the girl. The girl was still trying to fight with them. Before she only had a few scratches but now, she has some more deep cuts on her arm, waist, and legs. A person was grabbing her from her hair. She had reached her limit. Even if she continued to fight, she can't harm them significantly. That person tossed her towards the crowd. Sandhya finally saw that girl's face. It was the same girl whom she had saved from those bullies a day before. She stood up from her seat abruptly and dashed outside.

Lola saw Sandhya run outside hurriedly. She called, "Where are you going right now? Hey?"

But Sandhya didn't stop neither she answered. She pushed the crowd and parted her way towards the girl who was lying on the cold ground injured. She was trying to push herself to get up but due to the injuries on her legs, she was unable to get up. When Sandhya was finally able to cross the crowd she saw that the person who had pushed her was preparing to cast a spell on her. He was holding a wand in front of his and a ball of fire had gathered on the tip of the wand. There was a sinister smile on his face.

"With this fireball, I will burn that pretty face of yours."

People ran as far away from that place to avoid being hit by the ball of magic. The person flicked his wand and the fireball went towards the girl with tremendous speed.

When the person thought that it would hit the girl, he saw a shadow move in front of her and the ball of fire hit something and covered the girl with the shadow. The fire didn't persist and snuffed. Only then he saw that they were covered by a layer of thin ice like a barrier.

Sandhya stood up and the ice barrier broke into pieces. She helped the girl stand up and supported her to stand.

But before that person could say anything he heard, "Brizio if you want to play around then please do it out of the crowded area, somewhere safe. Not here in front of my café. You almost blasted my front door."

When Brizio saw Lola, he was stunned for a moment. But then a smirk appeared on his face like he didn't care.

"Oh, Miss Lola nice to meet you. I didn't expect you to meet here. I see you are still here intruding in other people's affairs. Why don't you use that time to earn more money? It would be more profitable, you know?"

Lola nonchalantly answered, "What is profitable for me and what is not I know very well Mr. Davide. You should mind your business more. Why are you here creating such a commotion in front of my café? If you are so fond of fighting then please do so in underground battle arenas not here. Or if you are afraid to show your face there then please choose a secluded open area where no one can see your fighting fetishes."

Brizio's face was as red and hot as molten lava when he heard her mock him.

"You… you are still arrogant as before Lola Corsetti. Do you think that I am still that person five years ago? If you think so then you are too overconfident. If you dare then I am challenging you here right now. If you were able to defeat me then I will leave this area with my own will. And will never interfere in any of the businesses here. But if you lost then you are going to get out of this damned place and the rental fee of this place will be doubled. And…"

His eyes lingered on the injured girl for a moment as he continued, "And I will become that girl's master. What do you say, Miss Corsetti? Do you agree with me?"

Lola's eyes raged in anger and she clenched her fist tightly. She knew very well what he was trying to do? But she still curbed her anger and agreed.

"Why not? Shall we go to an open place or are you still not satisfied after destroying that stall?"

Brizio snickered, "Hmph, let's go."

They went to an underground place which was situated under the harbor's deck. Sandhya couldn't believe that there could be this spacious area under here even though she always comes here for her daily jog. It was so spacious that even a big ship could be fit in that area. There was an even deeper circular stage made up of special granite rock which could withstand an S-ranked mage's magic attack. And surrounding it was a seating area for audiences. It was an underground battle arena. Seeing the space Sandhya esteemed that it is a C-ranked certified arena. Where even a duo battle can be held.

Lots of people were present there because they were having an official fight. Although no one can interfere when an official fight is going on between two people but they can reserve it for a small amount of time after the fight is finished if it is really necessary. Or else they can select a date and time in which they will hold a fight so that the manager can prepare for it.

But Brizio didn't even need to ask for it. The manager himself came to greet him and even made arrangements for the fight immediately. He made arrangements for the people who had followed them there to watch the match as well. After all, he was the only VVIP member of that arena. So, he must make arrangements according to it. If he didn't find anything satisfying, he would fire him.
