I rented a car as soon as Juliet said she was going to pack. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving her alone, so I ordered Raven to be close. Of course, I also threatened to cut off his hands if he dared to touch her again.

My cousin was still barely a baby compared to the other vampires. Our lives used to be very long, so Raven at fourteen, was just a kid trying to act like a big boy.
