Fourteen

Melody's POV:

My first ever party didn't turn out to be as bad as I had thought.

The bungalow was a really modern and stylish one. Packed with hundreds of girls and boys. The way they were laughing, dancing, throwing champagne, it looked like this party was meant for only popular people.

I had decided to go back to my hotel the moment I had seen the crowd. But when Amelia had dragged me inside, it pretty much turned out to be fine.

Nobody gave me a second glance. They continued doing what they were doing.

"I had known that Julia's parties were big, but I didn't know they were this big." Amelia said.

It looked like she was amazed herself.

And then out of nowhere came Oliver crashing both of us in a hug. I still had no idea how Oliver so easily accepted the fact to consider me as a friend. Maybe he was used to making new friends.

But if I make friends, which I don't usually do, I wouldn't go around hugging them like I trusted them. But it's not like I could've pushed him.
