Chapter Nine
The Meeting.
Nena arrived the NDLEA headquarters in her Aston Martin sedan automobile . She watched the environment for a moment and observed the behavior of the people she saw walking around the premises. Everyone seemed to be very busy with something and eager to get to their next destination in such a hurry. Nena being the great workaholic that she was,had always been very comfortable working in an environment like this, filled with such serious minded people like herself. She wasted no more time observing them and hurriedly stepped out of her ride, putting her black Gucci shades on, she exotically walked her way down into the building with such great style.
It was no surprise that Nena stole the attention of everyone in every building she ever enters, making a beautiful grand entrance. This was no different.
Nena walked straight into the board room where she had been informed that the meeting is being held.

Friday the thirteenth of October; six months earlier, it was no surprise that it had been raining heavily at that time of the year. Everyday came with an even heavier sequence of rainfall and thunderstorms. This particular day was no different . It was 7pm already. Nena had been driving for an hour nonstop now until she finally met with the regular Lagos traffic. She was disappointed although not surprised. She had lived in the city all her life and had been accustomed to their age old traffic. Flight 24 of the virgin Atlantic airlines now flew at an altitude of 356meters above sea level on route to it’s destination – Abuja. The weather had been associated with storms and a very cloudy atmosphere. The flight was only permitted to leave the airport because it was a local one that could take no longer than an hour at most, to complete.Nena stared out the window at the clouds as the plane managed it’s way out of a series of very violent turbulences.
