Prologue II: The letter

Dear Kharl Axiel,

The daughter of monsters, the child of the crown, the heavenly princess born into the home of the subjects so that I may get a chance to know her. Princess Kharl, the only soulmate that the maker made for his always lost son, Marcelo Depinn.

Growing up with you in this small village (Nutusel, The land behind the woods) is indeed a privilege that I'm just finding out it is. I have always known you are like an islet. My dear Kharl Axiel, I have always known that you are one in a million girls; having agreed to be sent to the poverty-lined side of the earth just to be with me.

Sweet Kharl Axiel, you thought me to hear beyond walls and see beyond lights.

You stood with me in the light, and waited for me patiently; all the times I crossed the line and confined in darkness. You always stood and waited patiently for me until I crossed to never return. Now without you, my tomorrow is dark forever.

I have lost myself numerous times and never had many regrets; because it is nothing but destiny winning every inch of the war.

Losing you was never my greatest fear but now, it is my second worst regret. The worst is losing you to an animal-faced monster, the worst person you ever wish to be with. Now I understand you would rather end up with a monster than any other human. Oh! My love, my dearest lover; had I known, I would have been better. Had I known?

Just like the game of the lost souls, I shall walk through the woods before sunrise without food and water. I shall walk until I'm punished enough. I have taken five bottles of grog, I want to be so drunk when the undertaker approaches me and I shall recite our poem to him.

Yours love abuser,

Marcelo Depinn.
