15 - Unexpected trip

When I woke up this morning, I was hungrier than usual. I'd gone to bed without dinner so I wouldn't have to talk to Jaden and even though I was still hurt, I missed him a lot during the night.

The first few days after Joshua left, I missed him. But, nothing like it was on a night without Jaden - and mind you, until recently, I didn't want to be his mate.

When Joshua left, it was even better for me and I reflected on how nice it was to have a bed of my own. Of course, I never expressed this, since I'd always heard that a bond was the most important thing in the world and that, for some reason, I should miss a man I'd lived with for a year.

As I stretch out on the bed and face the outside of the room, I realize what a beautiful day it is outside. I think I can invite Jaden for breakfast on the lawn. We can talk and try to reach a consensus. One of us has to give in and I hope it's not me, I couldn't bear to be the second in my mate's life.
