I didn’t miss how that guy looked at Everly as we walked out, and I sure didn’t miss how she acted towards him. She acted as if she was afraid of him, considering how she clung to me as we walked out. I looked at him briefly and thought I had seen him before, but I was not sure. He didn’t look too imposing, and I am positive that I could handle him if he gave her trouble. He walked out the front door as we walked over to the elevator to get to our cars. I can’t help but laugh every time I see Kylynn climb into Brent’s lifted truck. I did notice that he put some step boards on the truck. There was a shit ton of nervous energy in this room. Alayni and Travis had landed earlier than they thought they would. They got into Savannah at around midnight. Everly had woken up to Alayni’s group text, letting everyone know that they had arrived and the meeting would still take place around noon. Of course, Tianya responded by telling all the girls they needed to meet her and Kylynn for breakfast. I knew that Kaden was anxious about that meeting between Arthur, the lawyer and the mystery person. Kaden and Lance had to fly out today for the meeting in Boston. They weren’t due to leave until Tuesday, but the meeting had to be pushed up. The whole North East was expecting a terrible winter storm, and Kaden and Lance didn’t want to get stuck up in Boston for who knows how long. They are due back Saturday. The storm is expected to hit Sunday, so they wanted to make sure they left before it rolled in. I am currently over at Mark and Claire’s. I don’t think I have ever seen Auntie so pissed. Grandmother was not much better, but Auntie was really pissed. I knew they had gone with our lawyer to talk with someone about that stupid contract. We met with Arthur two days ago, and I am still processing what he told us. I was expecting the mystery person to be one of moms relatives, but I was not expecting it to be my grandmother and one of my aunts. Ironically the two mystery people that showed up with the lawyer are the same to that randomly showed up that day at mom and dads and made a huge scene. I am not sure what to think. I am worried about Everly. She has been acting strange this last week. I know it has nothing to do with the pregnancy, so something else is happening. She doesn’t seem any more stressed than normal. I can tell that these last three months are going to be the hardest for her. Our little man has grown considerably, and Everly has been complaining of back pain. I make sure to run her a nice hot bath every night, which she enjoys, along with her nightly foot massages. I love seeing her pregnant with my son, but I also hate seeing her in pain. I talked with Aunt Lisa earlier, but she told me that there is nothing she can really do. She told me that this is normal for being in her third trimester of pregnancy. Two more months is all I have left. Thank god, I am over being pregnant. I love my son and feel him move around, but my back is killing me. My feet hurt, and I feel like an overfilled water balloon. I am getting very worried that if he grows any more that I won’t be able to have him naturally. Aunt Lisa told me at my monthly appointment that everything was looking good. From her estimates, she says that he is 7lbs, maybe even a bit over that right now. Of course, that pushed me into overthinking mode. I shudder when I realize that if he gains a pound or more a month until I give birth, he could weigh 9lbs or more. There is no way I can push that out of my body. Three weeks is all we have left until our little man arrives. Aunt Lisa told us today that he could really arrive any day. I can tell that Everly is both excited and anxious. Honestly, I am feeling the same way. I still can’t believe that the birth of my son is that close. It seemed like yesterday when Everly walked into that meeting, and then I found out she was pregnant with my son. “You looked stressed,” Lance says. “I am not stressed. I am more anxious than anything. There are only three weeks left until the baby is here. Aunt Lisa told us that he could literally arrive any day now.” I reply. “Everything will be fine. Both of you have tons of support. I will admit your cousin is a big fucking crybaby.” Lance states.
