Chapter 157

After sending a message to Andrew, Seraphine continued tailing Clarissa.

He replied, "Please be careful. The man had been seen around Mitchell's residential area last night."

She answered, "Okay. Got it, Chief Walker."

Seraphine watched as Clarissa entered the gated community. She then stopped by a nearby grocery store, bought two packs of cigarettes for Patrick, the security guard, and smoothly made her way inside.

She took the elevator up without noticing that someone had already seen her come in. As the elevator doors closed behind her, she headed straight for Mitchell's floor.

Meanwhile, the man who spotted her quickly sent a message to Mitchell. By the time he received the alert, there was already a knock at his door.

His eyes narrowed with a flash of hostility. Could that be Seraphine? How the heck did she manage to track him down and make it past the front gate?
