NEON's perspective

“Silas that way, Gemma! To the left!” I yelled in the woods when we caught some of the rogues.

We ran after them, I ran faster when I let Jax out, and I knew if I had to catch those rogues I had to shift.

My bones cracked as I ran, I grew bigger, my ears became longer, my claws came out, and my fangs. The clothes tore off my body, and Jax surged forward, running after the rogue. One of them was running in the direction of my house. I hastened up. I had to get him before he got closer to where the mansion was.

It never occurred to me why he was running to the mansion, leaving the other rogues behind.

‘Faster Jax.’ I growled.

There haven’t been rogues in the pack for a long time.

‘Alpha, we couldn’t find him.’ My Gemma said through the mind link.

I snarled. ‘Find the mole, search everywhere, search every house in the pack if you have to. Find him.’

‘Yes, Alpha.’

I closed the mind link and focused on the running rogue.
