Chapter 4

(Phone ringing)

"Hey" bella beamed.

"Good morning" I greeted. 

"You don't sound like it's a good one, any problem?" bella asked me.

Sighing "Had a nightmare".

"About someone trying to save you?"bella asked again.

" Yeah "I whispered.

" Did you get the chance to see the faces? "

" No" I replied palming my face.

"I think with time the faces might show, just don't stress yourself out but remember to keep taking your drugs if you want to strong again" bella cautioned me.

"Yea, yea have heard you mom" I teased.

Laughing "Or you gonna be so grounded" Bella joked. 

(Laughter). "Hold on, just got a text from Steve" 

"Ohh, someone can't seem to get enough of each other" bella teased. 

Groaning "stop, it's nothing like that". 

"Really?". 

"Yeah" I replied boldly. 

"Then what does the text say?" Bella asked. 

"Dinner at 8 johnex hotel and suites". 

"Ahhhh" 

"What?, Stop screaming!". 

"Okay am sorry, just so excited and happy for you" Bella cooed. 

"Okay thanks?" I replied rolling my eyes. 

"But remember" 

"What now?" I groaned. 

"Dress sexy with a push up bra and lingerie!" Bella cautioned. 

"What?, no! Why would I?". 

"Who knows if he prefer black on women's, cause most men love black ?" bella replied. 

"you've gone crazy" I said. 

"You should if you want him to be all over you" 

"Gross, need some breathing space". 

Groaning "Your too naive, but don't forget the most important of all, every woman does". 

"What?" I asked curiously. 

"Protection!" 

"Eww, girl" I screamed. 

"Oh come on, who knows if he is truly mr right and besides we don't want any surprises in the future" bella cautioned me. 

"God! Just kill me already". I groaned out loud rolling my eyes.

"Good, you got a lot of time for shopping or do you want me to help you out with the shopping?". 

"No, got it" I said sighing. 

"Great, I taught you well!" bella replied proudly. 

"Yeah right, gotta do chores". 

"Kk". 

"Promise you'll tell me everything details that occurred when you get back?" bella pleaded. 

Smiling "I will". 

"Love you" 

"Love you more". 

(Line dead). 

"Phew, now where do we start from" I asked no one in particular. 

(Few hours later) 

Every where was tidy and stuffed in a moving box. "God, am so exhausted" Camela almost screamed out while stretching out her body, Camela grabbed the two big bags of dirt outside towards the trash depositing each of them to their boxes.

(Unknown caller)

"Boss, we got her location"

"Good, bring her in tonight" the receiver thundered.

"Yes sír" I replied bowing with an evil smile on my face.

Camela decided to go for shopping before taking a nap. Okay she won't lie, going for shopping was fun but paying on installment wasn't. Why didn't I get excited like this earlier? All kinds of thoughts ran through her head. "Okay now I do really need bella help and company" Camela concluded out loud.

(Unknown caller)

" Boss, she just came back from shopping and found out something odd about her ".

" What?"the receiver asked curiously. 

" Most theifs/assassin tend to spoil themselves with money and buy expensive stuff, flunt their riches in other people faces "i said with distain in my voice.

" And " the receiver asked curiously.

" She not like that, like I mean exactly like that type "I said out loud with confusion and concerns written all over my face.

Confused as hell the receiver asked with a little touch of annoyance in his tone" Different how? ".

" She paid on installment boss" I whispered.

" What" the receiver asked in shock.

" I was shocked too boss" i responded. 

 "Or did she get trick by her boss with the cut" the receiver asked with confusion written all over his face.

"I doubt that boss, I think she is laying low for a while trying not to bring attention by spending lavishly" i said hoping to convince him to go on with the plan.

"Okay, I thought as much once you done with the mission get me informed immediately" the receiver thundered. Bowing down to no one in particular i screamed "thank you boss, I will surely prove my worth to you".

(Line dead).

With a smile tugged on Klaus lips he shouted an order to them before taking his leave. They all responded with fear in their tone knowing well that he's now in charge of the mission, in one word this is their boss last hope.

(At De Jung company).

Leo sat down on his comfy chair trying to keep his mind at rest with ken staring at him for some attention. Ignoring ken, Leo backed him with a cup of coffee in his hands dusting an invisible dirt of his suit. Ken not minding his cold gesture spoke out first "Doesn’t everything about what Klaus just told you sounds off to you also?"

"no response"

"Are you really going to keep ignoring me, knowing everything sounds off?" I screamed out in anger.

Turning his chair quickly leo rained him with an angry look filled with guilt. "I know that look on your face say guilty, cause you are doubting if she truly is the one" i cooed.

"So?" leo spoke for the first time.

Gaining more confidence ken continued "I know I might have failed you by letting your diamonds stolen in the first place which am guilty of and have apologized numerous times to be forgiven".

"Okay?, so what?" leo asked.

"I want you to give me the authority to figure out the puzzle and sort the odd one out" I spoke confidently with a smile on my face.

"Sure you can" leo replied pretending to be busy with his computer.

"I will but one a condition" I said with a mischievous smile.

Halting immediately, Leo looked up with a deadly glare "Which is?".

I continued "I will get to be in charge of investigating the stolen diamond, Camila, her boss, the diamonds location and gaining your trust back" I finished with a smile on my face. Resting back on the chair with his hand on his chin, pretending to be thinking about it for few minutes before nodding in agreement to my deal. Seeing Ken's face lite up with smiles gave leo joy, feeling at ease after sharing his problems with his friend, brother and probably father. Leo smiled within himself as he saw Ken heading out to prove his worth and gain his trust back.

"I never for once mistrusted you brother" leo whispered before getting himself surrounded with loads of work.
