IANNA’S POV

My knees grew weak, the drinks fell from my hands wetting my shoes as I held on to the wall. He was going to reject me; I should have known. “Hey, I thought I was the only one drinking, why are you now the one holding on to the walls?”

Christina came over to me, by that time my head was buzzing, and I was feeling dizzy. “Ianna, what is wrong?” asked Christina with so much concern. When I did not respond, she opened the door to the room.

She saw Jeyden then looked back at me. she closed the door and took my hand. “Let’s go, I will help you down the stairs.” Indeed, she did exactly that. I felt stupid, how could I have even thought for a second that Jeyden would accept me.
