CHAPTER FORTY THREEI wanted to go to my room but I didn't. Instead, I shifted into my light brown wolf and ran through the woods to clear my head. I didn't know what else was expected of me. CHAPTER FORTY FOUR“Argh” I groaned as I shifted in the comfort of this bed. I opened my eyes only for them to meet with a familiar green one. CHAPTER FORTY FIVEI slept as soon as Lucian left. I was so tired but Ri came in screaming not knowing I was still asleep.“I just spoke to Lucian!” I sat up with a frown.“Oh my gosh. CHAPTER FORTY SIX“Lucian” I cried holding his clothes tightly not wanting to disrupt the movie for anyone else. They came to have a nice time and I should not cole in the way of that. Lucian looked like he was trying his best. His wolf was threatening to take over and finish the mating process but he knows I am not ready to finish it.“She will be here soon” He groaned. CHAPTER FORTY SEVENAs soon as Lucian left with the dirty dishes I went back to sleep. I have been sleeping a lot lately but my body really needs it. I've been really stressed about the whole Megan's death. I don't expect to find her body anymore. CHAPTER FORTY EIGHTI woke up panicked.“Lucian” I called before I felt his familiar hands hold me down stroking my arm.“I’m here” He answered.“You didn't leave?” I said smiling. CHAPTER FORTY“So, I need you to cut this into big pieces” I instructed him passing him the large potatoes. He looked at me weirdly before collecting it from me.“Aren’t you supposed to be teaching me?” He frowned trying to cut the potatoe. “How do you intend you learn if you don't cook?” I asked him laughing. I collected one of the potatoes and took another laugh.“This is how you do this” I showed him how I expected him to cut the potatoes. He didn't look pleased but he did it anyway. He took longer than anybody would but I understand he was just learning.“You make it sound so easy” He complained after cutting the last one.“It is once you master it. We can stop, maybe cooking isn't just for you” I said resting on the counter.“How I'm I supposed to cook you meals then?” He asked. I shrugged.“Charlotte,” I said. CHAPTER FIFTY“Lunch” He announced dropping the plate of mashed potato, gravy and steak.“Presentable” I praised him for how he served.“Thank you” He flashed a smile sitting beside me.“How did I do?” He asked waiting for me to say something when I took the food in my mouth.“Considering I was the one who added all the ingredients, I did a good job” I teased.“Can we pretend I think all the work?” He joked.“You did good Lucian. I was telling you what to do throughout so you made today’s lunch” I said.“You and I both know I barely did anything but I’ll take it” He laughed taking mashed potatoes and gravy.“Give yourself more credit. With more practice you will be an excellent cook” I reassured him.“How did you learn to cook?” He asked taking a bite of his steak.“Eight years a slave?” I answered more like a question. “Oh, sorry.
