CHAPTER 53- GAVIN’S POV

I remembered sitting still as the strange woman at the door looked at me like I just broke her heart, i felt sad for her even though I had no idea why. For a second, I wanted to call her back, to ask her who she was and why she looked at me that way.

I smiled as Adele brushed the hair away from my face, bringing me away from my thoughts. She had been caring for me since I woke up and she told me we were in love and there was nothing suspicious about it, she was totally the kind of woman I would go for, hot and sexy and gorgeous and she reminded me she was carrying my child.

At first, I laughed, thinking she was joking. Me? A father? But then she showed me pictures of us together, intimate, close. My arm around her waist. My lips pressed against her cheek. There was evidence so what was there not to believe.

Sorry I did not remember you” Gavin said with an apologetic wave.
