THE LIE

"This city is so beautiful." I commented with my right cheek glued to the window. Since we drove out of the house with Joe, I've been looking around from my sitting position in the car.

"Greenland is the best City in this country." Joe alleged with a smile. "I've travelled to most of the states in the country and seen the few I haven't been to on TV. I hereby conclude that this city surpassed them all in development." he justified.

"I agree." even though I've only been to a few cities. Three to be precise. Everyone in the country talks about the wonders of Greenland I guess.

"You seem to travel a lot." I told John. I was trying to start a conversation, to ease my mind from the tension that lies ahead. Starting the conversation with Joe made me sound like Trevor who always loved talking to people.

"Yes, I travel a lot." replied Joe. He was an elderly man, probably Stephanie's age. "I travelled to cities with Stephanie's father before he died.
