What if they had stopped over at an eatery to have breakfast before getting home?" Henry laughs, his mom gave him a stern look "Henry? Is it true? You found a woman now you ditched your mother? SUSANSusan and Henry stood a while outside waiting for the cab driver to arrive, Susan is glad that at last they are alone and maybe they could have that conversation she has been waiting to have with him but Henry was all quiet, standing tall with his two hands stuffed in his pocket and shifting from one foot to the other. Susan concludes if he wasn't going to start up the conversation then she will because she isn't about to take this moment for granted "So whats'up?" she finally said something to get him talking "Fine, it's good to be back home you know, I miss this amount of sun in my face" he looks at the sky. GIRLS TIMEThe blared horn at the gate disrupted the ladies' gist, the same way it interrupted Susan's nap. Susan swears under her breath as she pays the driver and opens the gate. SUSANThick clouds gather heavily in the sky, thunderclaps, and lightning strikes. Susan walks aroundthe house locking all windows and doors firmly,whenever the sky decides to let down all it hasgathered, it would be a heavy downpour and Susan doesn't want to be caught unaware that's why she left Tade's house in a hurry after her mom's text message came in, informing her that she did a lot of their laundry before she left home for her friends' place, she had begged Susan to go home and fetch them from the lines before the rain drench them all.Having locked all windows, fetched and arrangedall clothes, Susan gives herself a break and decides to rest. CHICHIAfter the wine and dining with her friends that day, Chichi retired to the second bedroom in Tade's house later in the night. The fun time she had with her friends really helped her shove her exhausting worries aside for a while. She has decided to stay a while at Tade's to help with Susan's wedding plan and Tade's divorce process, even though those reasons lie on her tongue. She picks enough snacks, beverages, fruits, tea, and milk that would last them a while since she can't say for a certain how long he would stay admitted.
