"Alright, I give up, okay? You're really annoying, seriously," Eric finally said before jumping into the water, after I didn't give up chasing him for a full twenty minutes without stopping.

“Good boy,” I said, barely able to hold back my laughter, leaving him in the water while Shane, Audrey, and I walked toward the campfire.

“You just got here a few minutes ago and you’re already wet, Alexis? That’s not the sight I was expecting from you,” Matt commented, making me shake my head.

He and his sarcastic sense of humor were driving me crazy. Good thing he was just my friend. Otherwise, I might have punched him in the face right then and there.

“Shut up, Matt,” Shane said with a laugh. “You don’t want to mess with her right now. She’s got bodyguards, so guys like you better know your place and leave her alone. Start being nice before her bodyguards kick your ass.”
