Sebastian's Point of View

It would not be an exaggeration to say that I was shocked when I saw the scene at the crime scene.

In front of me was none other than Alexis. Her clothes and face were covered in blood, but she was calmly counting a pile of cash while leaning against a tree.

Yes, that's right. She stood there, counting money as if it were normal, as if there was nothing wrong with her face, her clothes, or the corpses piled up near her feet.

She seemed distracted, as if she weren't in front of my gang members, who should have been demanding accountability for what she had done. She didn't even look at me or the gang members once.

When I looked at Blake, Luke, Jason, and Alex, I saw their eyes lost in the strange scene. I knew what they were thinking. The girl was too strange for us to understand. They looked at me uncertainly, as if asking what they should do with her, and the only answer I could give was a long sigh. What could they do with her? Clearly, I had to handle this

  • LOVE WITH THE WRONG ALPHA   CHAPTER 42

Sebastian's point of view"Hello, Mark? I think I know where Alexis," I said as soon as he picked up the phone."I think you and your people have caused enough damage, Alpha Sebastian. We certainly don't need your help to find her. We know she's in LA, and I'm already on my way there," Mark said, and I sighed deeply."Mark, I know what my beta did is unforgivable. It's embarrassing even for me. However, if we want to find her quickly, we have to work together. You know she's in LA, but how are you going to find her in a place that big? Neither of us wants her to get hurt, right?" I said, looking awkwardly at my beta, who gave me a stern look, while my friends Jason and Luke could barely hold back their laughter.Hearing a long sigh on the other end of the phone, I knew he was thinking about what I had said."I'll be there in a few minutes. Ready if you want to come along," Mark said, and I looked at my friends before nodding.I said, "He'll be here in a few minutes, I..." then I stopp

  • LOVE WITH THE WRONG ALPHA   CHAPTER 41

The Perspective of the Leader of the Wild Pack"Boss, there's bad news," said my right-hand man before bowing respectfully before me.Bad news?It had been so long since I had heard those words. They sounded almost foreign to my ears. I could already guess what might have happened. The Alpha in this region was not strong enough to defy my orders, and humans, they weren't even considered to be at the bottom of the pyramid. They were too weak to be taken into account. So, who was brave enough to bring me bad news?I raised an eyebrow, signaling for him to continue. But before that, my gaze flickered toward the girl in front of me with a look of contempt. I waved my hand, dismissing her. The girl immediately bowed her head and stepped back nervously. These women never know when to leave.I shook my head slowly, then looked back at my subordinate and motioned for him to speak. My hand turned the page of the agreement in front of me, a document I had to sign with an alpha. How foolish.I d

  • LOVE WITH THE WRONG ALPHA   CHAPTER 40

Alexis's Perspective"Wait, did you just say that I'm going to be tested?" I replied, feigning fear and widening my eyes.Test me? Who would dare touch me?"Haha... Don't worry, dear. It'll be quick and painless," she said, while the boy stared at us in confusion, his eyes darting between me and his girlfriend. He looked at us as if he had heard these words for the first time in his life."What are you talking about? Lanterns? Analysis? Did I miss something? How did you know about the professor's research? You’re not even part of our lab,” he asked her.It seemed like someone was in for a big surprise. I wasn’t surprised to learn that he hadn’t told her about our species.Narrowing my eyes, I looked the girl up and down. She was a lantern, a little taller than me, and clearly a traveler."We're talking about a different project here, dear. Why don't you go in and talk to the professor while I take this girl? I think we'll be good friends," she said, her eyes fixed on me with a warning

  • LOVE WITH THE WRONG ALPHA   CHAPTER 39

Sebastian's PerspectiveHe said she was tortured by her parents and her wolf friends because she was a lantern? How could anyone do that? They were her parents, and their job was to love her. And her mate stayed with her sister even after learning the truth and wanting her to be nothing more than a sex object? What kind of twisted mind would suggest such things? She is such a strong girl. Anyone in her position would have given up long ago. And I still suggested they kill her because she was a wanderer and a lantern who rejected her partner, which is why I am ashamed of myself. Is that why she doesn’t want to tell me the whole truth? Because she’s ashamed of her past, just like me? Or because of what Eric said? Because she thinks explaining herself to me is like talking to a deaf person.“She wants to tell you. You’re the one not listening, remember?” My wolf reminded me.I'm worse than them. Mark is right. I know nothing, and even without knowing anything, I've hurt her. She trusted

  • LOVE WITH THE WRONG ALPHA   Chapter 38

Sebastian's PerspectiveTurning around, I found myself face to face with the man known to everyone as the son of the council leader and the next leader, standing there with a cold and angry expression.Looking into his red eyes, I immediately regretted what I had said. Not because I was afraid of him, but because I knew he was close to Alexis, and he would surely tell her everything. And that was the last thing I wanted to happen."Mark? Well, it's an honor to welcome not just one, but two important council members. What brings you here?" I said, trying to change the subject.I knew what I said was wrong, but I wasn't going to apologize for telling the truth. Strangely, the council was busy protecting him when they should have been focusing on other serious issues, such as the cheating scandal.“Let’s skip the formalities, shall we? What did you say about Alexis? That she should be killed? How could you say something like that when you don’t even know a tenth of the truth?” Mark asked

  • LOVE WITH THE WRONG ALPHA   CHAPTER 37

Sebastian's PerspectiveWow, how strange. This shouldn't be happening. It doesn't feel normal to feel this bad. I mean, when did I become such a sensitive person? And why do I feel guilty? She betrayed me, lied to me, and instead of feeling angry as I should logically feel right now, I feel an overwhelming sense of guilt, as if I had killed an innocent person."Well, you did kill her trust. Or have you forgotten how she looked at you before she left? Or what she said?" the wolf replied, and I groaned loudly in annoyance. He should be angry and irrational. Why am I feeling all these emotions? Not only that, he never misses an opportunity to attack my feelings and make me feel even more guilty than I already do.Sighing deeply, I watched the university students having fun with students from other universities. It was a really good idea to let them into the pack's territory. This would strengthen our relationship with humans. When I looked at Alexis's friends, my natural instinct was to
