"It's fun, Nayla. It's fun!" He answered, equanimity showing in his face. The place became graveyard silent. Nayla looked into his eyes as she crossed the distance between them. She stepped on the leg of one of the tigers and jumped in fright. She stopped a few steps away. The first thing she looked for was his fingernails.

She was shocked to see them retreating back, just like that lycanthrope in that night. "You..." She tried making a sentence. Verin looked at her, patiently waiting for whatever she wants to say.

His heart seemed to be scared, due to the never ending poundings. He felt scared, like he didn't want her to say or know anything about him yet. He knew that she had her doubts about him not being normal but he didn't want to tell her anything yet.

"You know all along, why acting surprised?" He tried to hide his fears by smirking at her as if not bothered that she knows something.
