"So, you've never been in a serious relationship?" I asked, glancing at Daniel while sipping my drink. He had invited me to this restaurant tonight since I didn't have plans. I knew he was interested in me, but it could just be physical attraction.

"I've been in two, actually. One in secondary school, which doesn't really count, and one in uni," he answered, pursing his lips. "The first one ended because of distance, and the last one, she cheated."

"So basically, just one serious relationship ending horribly, and you became a player," I said, shaking my head jokingly.
