DAMON

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Selene and Orion with Luca, and the people that came with them leaving. The rage that coursed through me was almost unbearable. How dare they take her away from me? I wanted to go after them, to fight for what was rightfully mine, but I couldn't. Selene had made it clear that she didn't want me as her mate anymore, and I had to respect her decision, as much as it pained me cos I broke her first.

To make matters worse, my dad had been snapping at me since they left. I was seething with anger, but I had to keep it in check. The last thing I needed was to get into a fight with my father.

I paced back and forth in my room, trying to figure out what I could do to get Selene back. I couldn't just sit back and watch her slip away from me. I had to do something, anything, to change her mind.
