Chapter 14

"Just admit it already, you're dating Loren, aren't you?"

I averted my gaze and grabbed popcorn from the bowl placed on Yana’s coffee table. I finished my class earlier. I am here now in her unit and Loren is there in his own unit next door.

I said that I was only here because Yana would fix me, and Loren agreed because he said he wanted to see me while fixing.

Yana didn't agree because she said she wanted it to be a surprise. As if there were more surprises for me. Loren didn't say anything because this is Yana's unit and she doesn't like to argue either — not like us law students.

"No way." my answered.

She narrowed her eyes at me and slapped me on the shoulder so I was shocked and accidentally threw away the popcorn I was holding.

"Heck," I complained as I picked them up from the floor.

"Ten how would you explain that intense connection whenever you stare at each other ?! And then he trashtalked the woman so badly, ha! The look on that bitch's face! HAHAHAHA!"
