Kalindi walked slowly to her husband who was sitting on the couch in his study room looking at something on his phone, his eyes were moist with love, adoration and many more emotions but longingness was most prominent one and his fingers moving gently across the screen like it was not his phone but something very precious.

She peeked from behind him without making a sound to see what he was looking at but when her eyes fell on his phone on which he was looking at a picture of him and Khanak in which both of them were looking very happy, her heart got filled with an unknown emotion which started suffocating her and her eyes breamed with unshed tears.

"My selfishness cost you a lot, Khanak” she spoke in her mind gulping down the lump formed in her throat as her hand reached to left side of chest to rub there. She felt heavy and unbearable in her heart when she remembered what she had done to her. she was the reason everything bad had happened to Khanak till date.
