The stranger strolled casually into the parking lot. It was dark and, despite the fact that it was Saturday and there were several bars around, the parking lot was not busy at 10:45. She would be getting out of the library soon and he wanted to be ready for her. He slipped a small screwdriver from his pocket and knelt by her license plate.
