Chapter 3

An hour ago, on a desolate land that stretched for dozens of kilometers at the territory's border, two ghostly figures chased after one another, and their speed was extremely fast.

The person in front was a man in his forties who appeared fierce. There was a shocking scar of more than ten centimeters on his face, and he was holding a shiny bardiche, exuding a strong sense of bloodthirstiness. The other person was around twenty-six years old. He was handsome and dressed in a brocade uniform, holding a steel saber. One could vaguely see the words "Shadow Sect" carved on the blade.

This saber was called the Cold Moon Saber!

"The Judge, you've been chasing me for three days and nights. Do you have to work so hard for your pitiful salary?"

The scarred man ran to a river and stopped, staring at the young man behind him like a beast.

"The Butcher, you've ruthlessly murdered the innocent, guilty of monstrous crimes!" The Judge also stopped in his tracks and shouted, "You'll die today!"

"Hmph!" The Butcher snorted. "Does the Shadow Sect really think they're the saviors? There are so many wicked people in the world. Can you kill them all?!"

"Eliminate and punish the evil to maintain order! May our blood be exchanged for a bright future!" The Judge replied loudly, "The Shadow Sect will kill anyone who's as evil as you, the Butcher!"

"Hmph!" The Butcher snorted again. "Do you really think I'm afraid of you? You're separated from your teammates. Killing me by yourself is just a fool's dream!"

"A fool!" The Judge's eyes darkened. "That's enough. I don't want to waste time on you anymore. Just enjoy your death!"

As soon as the Judge finished speaking, his silhouette shot out like a burst of lighting, and his saber pulled out dozens of sharp cold lights.

"You want to kill me? Let's see if you have the ability!" The Butcher roared and moved his hands, showing his forceful bardiche.

A series of ear-piercing clattering noises sounded, and sparks flickered as the blades danced in the air.

After the two fought for more than ten rounds, the Judge dodged and avoided the Butcher's strike. With a flick of his wrist, his saber cut open a wound of more than ten centimeters on the Butcher's waist, and blood spurted everywhere.

"Huh? You actually hurt me? Damn it!" The Butcher roared, slashing his bardiche down the Judge's shoulder as if he were chopping a wood block.

The Judge's pupils shrank slightly, and he swiftly dodged half of his figure to the side. At the same time, he raised his hand to block himself, and there was a crisp impact sound again.

The Butcher's violent force knocked the Judge back a few steps. He felt a tingling sensation in his arm, and his breath was slightly disordered.

Later, the Butcher did not hurriedly attack the Judge again. Instead, he tore a piece of his clothes and treated his wounds.

Suddenly, the Judge's satellite phone rang, and his expression changed slightly. Only a few people knew this number, and it was primarily used for emergency matters. Since someone was calling him, something big had surely happened!

The Judge glanced at the Butcher and picked up the call after making sure he did not have the intention to launch another attack.

"I'm the Judge. Who's this?"

"It's Yoel!" Yoel's solemn tone sounded. "Marshal's daughter was kidnapped, and we don't know if she's dead or alive. Come to Nimbulus now!"

"What?" The Judge shouted, and a suffocatingly cold aura burst out. Someone actually dared to kidnap the marshal's daughter? Was the person trying to have their entire family exterminated?!

"Give me a few hours. I'll be there as soon as possible!"

After hanging up the phone, the Judge looked at the Butcher. "I don't have time to play with you. Remember to be a good person in your next life!"

As soon as he said that, the Judge's momentum instantly skyrocketed, several orders of magnitude stronger than before. Then, his figure burst out like a cannonball out of its chamber. The Judge moved his wrist, and the Cold Moon Saber drew out countless cold lights in the air, which condensed into an extremely intense net of blades, attacking the Butcher.

"Huh?!" The Butcher quickly felt a terrifying killing intent enveloping him, and his pupils shrank. He knew well that he could not handle this attack with his ability! Just as he wanted to dodge, the Butcher realized that all his escape routes were blocked by the sky full of blades, and there was no way to retreat!

The endless sword lights were all submerged into the Butcher's body, and the scene was calm again with only the whistling of the mountain wind. The next moment, the Butcher fell and was covered in blood.

"S-So strong…" After uttering the two words with great difficulty, the Butcher's legs twitched and died.

The Judge did not spare another glance at the Butcher and hurried away from where he came from. At the same time, he took out his satellite phone and made a call. When the other person picked up, he roared, "Notify all the three-star and above members of Eastern District. No matter where they're or what they're doing, rush to Nimbulus as soon as possible! Kill any violators!"

Following his order, all three-star and above personnel in the Shadow Sect's Eastern District stopped what they were doing and rushed toward Nimbulus. This was unprecedented in the Shadow Sect! In an instant, all forces in the Eastern District were panicking, not knowing what major issue had happened!

In Nimbulus, Grand Universal Hotel, Suite 808.

A man and a woman sat on a sofa. The man was in his late twenties, dressed in branded clothes from head to toe. He was imposing, holding a cigar in his left hand and a glass of red wine in his right. The woman had a peerless beauty that could make the heavens jealous. She appeared to be in her mid-twenties, with delicate facial features, a graceful figure, and gorgeous skin.

She was Talia Jenkins, Mendorra's most beautiful woman and Riley's mother!

Talia's eyes were red, her face was full of sadness, and she was faintly trembling.

"Y-Young Master Timothy, p-please help me find my daughter…"

Talia stood and knelt before the wealthy playboy, choked with sobs.

"Hehe. Talia, I bet you didn't expect to beg me for help one day, right?"

Timothy Aellus took a puff of his cigar and blew it on Talia's face.

"Aren't you very arrogant? Haven't you always disliked a rich guy like me? I've pursued you for three freaking years, and I don't even care that you have a child born out of wedlock. Yet, you never looked me straight in the eyes! What's going on with you now? Why are you lowering your arrogant self?"

"Young Master Timothy, you can say anything you want about me, but please help me…" The beautiful Talia wept as she kowtowed. "I can't find anyone else that can help me besides you… Please…"

"Do you really want me to help you?" Timothy's eyes distastefully scanned over Talia's figure. "What's in it for me?"

"A-As long as you can help me find my daughter, I'll do anything you want me too…"

Talia trembled. She naturally knew what the other party wanted, but she had no choice! Her daughter was her everything, and she could give up anything to find her back!

Including dignity, body, and life!
