Bring The Noise

“Lauryn Anderson, wake up. It’s already morning. You have school,” a warm whisper sounded in my ear.

I opened my eyes and realised the sun was already rising in the east.

“What time is it?”

“Almost 8am. Go take a shower while I prepare breakfast for you.”

“Alpha Matthew, why are you here so early?” I asked.

“Did you forget that I stayed over last night? Hurry up and take a shower before it’s too late, Lauryn.”

Alpha Matthew replied with a smile on his face. I got up and quickly took a shower, ready to start the day with a clear head. Alpha Matthew offered two pieces of Corndog with ham filling.

“Where are Dad and Mum?” I asked.

“Mum? She went to school early. Dad and Mark went to the farm to buy fresh beef.”

We walked hand in hand to the car. Alpha Matthew opened the door for me.

“Why did you bother opening the door for me?” I asked.

“Your dad always treats you like a Princess. I’ll do the same,” Alpha Matthew replied.
