When Dante approached the kitchen he saw Mj was clutching her sides with laughter as Sam almost fell to the floor beside her gasping for air. Most of the pack had finished their meals and left the kitchen occupants to their shenanigans. To Dante’s horror he saw Tanner and Moxie trying to sword fight with cow tongues but were more successfully slapping each other with them instead. While Ace and Ed stood side by side with their arms crossed mumbling to one another.

Dante knew that Ace had found Mj and was doing his best to keep her from leaving until he could get to her. Dante knew that there were so many things he owed Mj and from the events that had just unfolded and the information Ace was feeding him he knew answering her questions was the first thing he needed to give her. A Short time later Mara emerged with two cups still on the tray. She shoved one into Dante’s face and he looked up at her in confusion, Mara rolled her eyes “You say thank you and take the coffee,” Dante obliged and as she sat down in front of him with her own coffee. Dante didn't quite know what to do, he knew Mara was a wolf but she was rouge so his status in the pack didn't intimidate her quite as much and he wasn't sure if she knew he was an original because Earth born wolves couldn't distinguish between the scents.
