LOGINGiselle is still confined to herself after her daughter's body was cremated. She still can't accept the death of her daughter Arnanta.
"Is this the fruit of my past mistakes?" the woman thought.
Meanwhile, Marcus was reading a book of prophecy about his kingdom. It was true that the daughter of their only heir would die before the devastating war with the vampires.
"It turns out that Arnanta's death was indeed her fate, according to the prophecy," he murmured.
Marcus was a great believer in prophecy. Even though he was a king of the wolf nation, he believed in prophecy, even before marrying Giselle, he was told that Giselle would give him a child that would make his nation strong. But in fact, his daughter died before his nation became great.
However, when he saw the next book, it explained that there would be a replacement for his dead daughter. She was known as a goddess, because she was born of mixed blood, not pure wolf nation.
"Mixed blood? What does that mean? It means there will be someone to make my nation strong, but not from my own bloodline," he said sadly.
"But who? This prophecy can't be wrong!" he added.
The man remembered the prophecy before marrying Giselle. That it was from Giselle that a descendant would be born that would become the strength of the wolf nation.
From Giselle.
"Not Arnanta? Then who? Does Giselle have other children besides Arnanta?" wondered the man.
To make sure, Marcus approached his wife who was still mourning the death of their daughter. Marcus understood that Arnanta was the light of the Werewolf kingdom.
Her birth was highly anticipated by the nation until her growth was also anticipated. Unfortunately, she could not live too long due to the actions of Princess Chloe.
"Giselle, I know this is not the right time to talk to you about this! But as a reminder that I have no more successors after Arnanta's death, I found a clue through this prophecy," Marcus showed the prophecy book to his wife.
Giselle only gave him a quick glance.
"Come on! It's just a prophecy, my advice is that we shouldn't rely on it too much," he pleaded.
"I know this is too much for you, this prophecy makes me a little curious because it says that Arnanta will be replaced by a goddess. We call her a goddess because she was born of mixed blood," he explained.
"Mixed blood?" Giselle responded.
"And I just remembered that before I married you, I was predicted to get a descendant from you who would be the source of our nation's strength, somehow I feel this prophecy is very relevant," he said.
"If she is mixed blood, then she is not from my blood, but from yours according to the prophecy. Arnanta is not our destiny, so we let her go," he said while hugging his wife.
Giselle shed tears. She remembered what happened 19 years ago. At that time, Giselle was still a teenager. She went to the forest and changed her form like a full moon, becoming a white wolf because in the forest she didn't want her identity revealed.
On the other hand, a man of Giselle's age was out hunting. He is Alister, a man who loves nature. He went to this forest with 2 of his friends who also wanted to hunt.
But in the middle of the forest, they got separated so Alister ended up hunting alone. Until he saw a white wolf that made him fall in love with the beauty of its fur.
Alister, determined to hunt it down so he could have the beautiful colored fur. When he was about to shoot it, the wolf ran away which made Alister chase it out of curiosity. Until the wolf stopped near the hills and then changed its form which made Alister stunned.
A werewolf girl named Giselle stunned Alister because her face was so beautiful like a flawless angel. Plus her hazel-colored golden eyes made Alister forget what his purpose was here.
"You? Why did you turn into a girl? Are you a werewolf?" Alister asked curiously.
The man was not at all afraid of the apparition in front of him.
"Why do you want to kill me?" asked Giselle sharply.
"I was just mesmerized by the beauty of your fur. I've never seen such a beautiful wolf, but your true form makes me seem to forget your wolf form," he replied.
Alister was stunned. This was the first time he had seen a wolf that could transform into a human. All this time, he had only seen it on television.
"I'm sorry for not knowing. I thought you were just a wolf and couldn't turn into a human," he said.
Since that incident, Alister has often met Giselle on the pretext of hunting. He often met Giselle secretly without the help of his 2 friends anymore. This made them finally close.
"Are all humans going to kill my people?" asked Giselle who was leaning on Alister's shoulder.
"Not at all, I'm just doing this because of my hobby of loving nature," Alister said.
"Love? That's called damage!" emphasized Giselle.
"I'm sorry! Ever since I met you, I seem to have forgotten my hobbies," he explained.
Giselle initially thought Alister was a human who could threaten the safety of her people. But when she saw Alister's sincerity who was willing to meet her secretly in the forest, Giselle finally melted.
They eventually fell in love as if they forgot that their love was a mistake as Giselle's people also disliked humans who always hunted their people.
Anna is a goddess who is believed to be the 7th descendant because she was born of mixed blood. One day this goddess will be able to exterminate the vampire nation.
Unfortunately, Giselle's people quickly found out about this. They were very disappointed with Giselle who was still a teenager daring to have a relationship with a human. Long story short, they were forced to exterminate Alister in front of Giselle.
Alister died after being torn apart by her father Giselle's people. Death being in sight, Giselle finally put her daughter on a large rock near the hills, where she met Alister. Giselle also gave her baby strength so that she was protected from danger, after which she cried and left her.
Until a couple named Fiona Conan and Andrew Conan who intend to pick rare flowers and only found in the forest accidentally hear the cry of a baby. They were very surprised to find a beautiful baby girl with yellowish hazel eyes left in this very dangerous forest.
Fiona, who felt sorry for this baby, finally took it even though Andrew initially forbade her for fear of being prosecuted if she met the baby's biological parents. But Fiona made sure that this baby was a baby that her parents did not expect. They named her Brizella Conan, which means hazel-eyed.
As for Giselle, she was forced to marry Marcus, a man of the same nation as herself by order of her father. Shortly after, she gave birth to a daughter named Arnanta.
Brizella grew up to be a beautiful girl. She lives life as a normal human being. The girl also has a younger brother named Luke Conan who is none other than Fiona and Andrew's biological son.
But on her 18th birthday, Brizella felt something strange in her body where her hands began to grow dense fur but the fur would disappear by itself making her even more frightened by what she was experiencing.
Giselle finally closed her eyes briefly after remembering the events of 19 years ago. She didn't even know the fate of her daughter whom she left alone in the forest. She hoped that a kind-hearted human would take care of her daughter.
"Giselle! Are you okay?" asked Marcus.
During this marriage, Giselle never gave her love to Marcus, she only always thought of Alister who died right before her eyes. Giselle feels guilty about Alister's death, plus her little daughter, Anna.
Marcus never forced Giselle to love him, but seeing Giselle often ignore him made him a little disappointed because he felt he was never appreciated.
Giselle nodded slowly.
"Now tell me, did you ever have any children other than Arnanta?" the man asked seriously.
Giselle was surprised. How could Marcus have noticed?
That night felt like a mistake. Not just because the sky was covered in dark clouds, leaving not a single star behind, or because the cold air pierced straight to the bone. It was more than that—there was something unseen, something impossible to explain, yet unmistakably present.Pressure.Silence.And a sense of dread that couldn’t be avoided. The forest surrounding the kingdom of Werewolfia was usually alive at night. The chirping of crickets, the rustling of wind through the leaves, and the faint footsteps of nocturnal creatures moving behind the bushes were all part of its nightly rhythm. But tonight—there was nothing. The silence wasn’t ordinary. It was suffocating. As if all of nature had chosen to fall quiet… because it knew something was about to happen. In the courtyard of the Werewolfia kingdom, Brizella stood.Alone.Her hands were tightly clasped together until her knuckles turned white. Her breathing was uneven. Her chest felt heavy, as though something was pressing fro
Blue light burst from the crack in the guardian stone like the breath of a creature finally freed from a long grave. The ground trembled. The air turned colder than any night Brizella had ever felt. Not ordinary cold—but the kind that seeped into bone, pierced through blood, and stole the breath from her lungs.Marcus stood at the front of his warriors.“Form a defensive line! Protect the heart of the territory!”The wolves shifted almost at once. Bones snapped, muscles stretched, and howls tore through the forest. Samuel stood at Marcus’s left, his eyes burning with vigilance. But Brizella did not move. She stood staring at the crack, feeling something… calling to her.Not a threat. Not a friend either.More like an echo from the past that knew her name.Jeff stood beside her. “That’s not vampire energy.”“I know,” Brizella replied softly. The blue light twisted into a small vortex in the air, spinning slowly like mist aware of its own existence. From within it came a low sound—not a
That night, the moon hung perfectly over the sky of Werewolfia—large and white, as if watching every breath taken by the creatures beneath it.Brizella stood in the center of the ancient stone circle, a place long reserved only for the elders’ sacred rituals. The ground around her still bore faint traces of the cracks caused by the surge of energy she had released days before. Though the fissures had sealed, their thin lines remained visible—like scars that had not fully healed. She stared up at the moon, her chest heavy.Since her conversation with Marcus—since the cold look that had once told her to leave—something inside her had changed. She no longer wanted only to be accepted. She wanted to prove she was not a threat.Yet the more she tried to prove that, the stronger the power inside her trembled.Samuel stood a short distance away.“You don’t have to do this alone,” he said quietly.Brizella gave a faint smile. “Since when is the Seventh Goddess not alone?”Samuel didn’t answer
Marcus believed that Giselle herself was the cause of Arnanta’s death. He felt that Giselle did not care at all—perhaps she even regretted losing Arnanta. Now her focus was solely on her own daughter, Brizella.“I don’t even know who her father is. How could you do this to me, my love?” Marcus muttered, rubbing his head in frustration. The middle-aged man looked up at the sky and closed his eyes. He regretted ever believing in the prophecy about the coming of the Seventh Goddess to his people. Now the goddess had indeed arrived—but she had ruined everything. She had torn his family apart.“Arnanta, my daughter… can you hear my voice up there?” Marcus whispered, still staring at the sky. “Your mother has changed. She loves your sister more now.”Marcus was truly disappointed in Giselle, especially after she refused to have another child with him. All of this happened because of Brizella’s arrival—Giselle’s daughter with that hunter.Suddenly, Marcus clenched his fists tightly. In that i
Giselle realizes that Brizella needs her full share of affection. She began to reconsider her desire to have another child for Marcus. She thought that even if it were true that she could have another child, she could not give her affection to Brizella. The girl would be stubborn all over again. Such thoughts made Giselle finally decide to talk to Marcus and reconsider her decision. "I'm still rethinking your plan to have another child," Giselle said. "Why, didn't you agree yesterday?" Marcus asked, surprised by his wife's change of heart. Giselle sat back on her bed, "I don't know. I think if we have another child, maybe I won't be able to give Anna all my love. She still needs me," she said. "Calm down, dear. Brizella is 19 and almost 20. She fully understands that her mother must have another child to inherit the Werewolfia bloodline," Marcus thought. "I understand. But don't you know that it's very difficult for me to have children after giving birth to Anna? The universe is
Brizella still seems to be angry with Giselle. She didn't even want to see the mother who gave birth to her. She locked herself in her room. For a moment, Giselle herself lets it go, thinking that Brizella needs time. She felt guilty for seeming to force her daughter. Marcus himself thought Brizella was still childish, considering she was about to turn 20, but she was still a little childish."Should we take her home?" Giselle asked anxiously. But right now, all she could think about was how to make Brizella feel comfortable in the place where she lived."Leave her alone. She's an adult. She's capable of choosing a place that's comfortable for her. As parents, we just need to be supportive," the man said."You're right. I'm sorry if I seemed pushy to her. Even though she has not made up her mind yet. Hopefully Anna will grow up and understand," the woman hoped. She rested her head on her husband Marcus' shoulder. Their marriage was almost 19 years old and had seen many storms. Giselle
A girl with long blonde hair is facing the vampire lords. She was facing Alonzo, his wife Jeanna and daughter Chloe. "I saw Jeff hugging the girl, she was very beautiful. But I don't see her as human or wolf. She doesn't have the smell of either," the girl explained. "Are you sure Jeff has a girlf
Brizel decided to light a campfire to warm up her body. Her brief encounter with Sam earlier made her even more curious about the wolf nation, the nation that was her lover's enemy. But unexpectedly, when she was about to take some food inside the tent, Brizel was surprised by Sam's return. The man
