"Madonna, you're actually glowing, Bianca." Inés fawned over me as we met up at the high end boutique to select an outfit for Emilio's birthday party.

"It's the wonders of good sex," Delilah muttered under her breath beside me, squawking in offence when I jabbed an elbow in her ribs.

"What did you say?" Inés blinked at Delilah.

"I said, it's a sign of good health." Delilah corrected.

I rolled my eyes hard at her and turned to smile at Inés. "Thanks for agreeing to come with me."

She grinned. "It's no problem. I wasn't doing anything at home and I like spending time with you."

The genuine smile on her face set me at peace.
