Kit waited for the servant who brought him into the study to leave before he responded.

“Madam, I have received reports from the palace of Ulster.” Kit put his hand on his chest and bowed his head as a sign of respect in front of the woman he was talking to. There was a visible excitement in his voice, as if what he was going to say next would excite the madam.

“Speak.” The cold and firm voice resounded, but Kit was already used to it.
