Chapter 25 - First Fight
Selene heard the rustling of leaves and immediately looked up. She jumped with terror when saw four men walking towards her.
- Did we scare you?- said the man with dark blond hair in the front.- What do you want?- she asked, stuttering in fear.- We have to complete the mission that Damon was supposed to do.- replied the second man, with black, half-long hair, standing on the right side of the blonde.The other two stayed to the side. One of them was terribly thin, tall and had almost white hair, the other was slightly shorter, with a dark complexion and black, slightly curly hair. Sinister smiles appeared on both of their faces. First, Damon patrolled the area around the Monroe family estate, straining all his senses, and when didn't sense even a hint of the presence of demons, he sat down on a tree branch and watched the area. Damon's main goal was now Salvadore. He had never liked this haughty, annoying demon, but when found out that he was the one who had killed Selene's father, hated him even more than usual, and knew very well that Salvadore would not give up and would want to complete the mission at all costs, so Damon had to kill him. Chris went to scout the garden of the Monroe family house, while Salvadore and Johhan stayed outside the walls, waiting for news from him. Chris roamed the garden, taking the form of a raven. The silence around surprised him, and nobody patrolled the garden. Johhan and Chris had a great time battling Marco and Damon. They deftly escaped their blows, and enjoyed every skirmish. Before everyone knew it, another school year had arrived. Before it started, there were several more attacks from Salvadore, Johhan and Chris, but Selene was watched day and night. Later, even during her lessons at school, Damon was always somewhere around, ready to protect her, although he doubted that Salvadore would attack Selene in a place with a lot of people. Maybe he was getting more and more desperate, but for sure was not so stupid.
