Chapter 14: good bad girl

Cody opened his eyes and immediately sat up with a start when he realized he was lying next to Eileen. He tapped her to make sure he wasn’t dreaming. They were both naked and lying in his bed. His phone beeped and he quickly got out of bed to answer it, so he wouldn’t wake Eileen.

It was Cecily, he creased his eyebrows before answering the call.

“Hi, Cecily good morning what’s up?”

“Cody are you still mad at us?” Cecily’s voice came through from the other end.

“Shouldn’t you be at your honeymoon? Stop bothering about me” Cody answered.

“Mum called, she’s worried about you, you’re not at your place in Witting, you’re not at her place either”

“I’m fine Cecily, I’ll go to work today”
